HTC One (M8) for Windows coming to T-Mobile

I was almost in tears when I saw that Verizon’s HTC One M8 for Windows was a global exclusive. Thankfully though, the device is only going to be an exclusive for Big Red for a limited time. It is going to be available elsewhere and – more importantly – it’s coming to T-Mobile soon. T-Mo confirmed it through its Twitter account earlier today: The rumors are true. @HTCUSA One M8 for Windows … [read full article]

Android 4.4.3 software update available for T-Mobile HTC One (M8)

Although it’s not yet showing up in T-Mobile’s support pages, we’ve been sent screenshots by a T-Mobile customer whose HTC One M8 received a major software update this morning. Software build number 2.22.531.5 has been released which includes – among other things – Android 4.4.3. Granted, it’s not the latest version of Android, but it’s at least a step up to one of the more recent versions of Google’s operating system. … [read full article]

HTC offering T-Mo One M8 buyers a free Fetch accessory while stocks last

Over the past couple of months, T-Mobile’s been focussing a lot of attention on the Galaxy S5 and – more recently – the LG G3. Doing huge giveaways and pre-registration plugs, while the HTC One essentially just got a “here, it’s available”. This weekend, HTC has been sending out emails to subscribers offering them a free HTC Fetch accessory if they buy a One M8 from T-Mobile. The Fetch, for those who don’t … [read full article]

T-Mobile Galaxy S5 or HTC One M8, which did you grab?

It’s now been ten days since the two latest flagship Android devices were launched in Magenta flavors. The two phones couldn’t be more different in approach to hardware and design. HTC opted for a solid metal body, front-facing BoomSound speakers and an unusual dual-camera system. Samsung’s Galaxy S5, on the other hand, is a slim piece of plastic with water and dust-proof design and a 16MP ultra-fast camera. Apart from that, they share similar … [read full article]

HTC One M8 review – The best Android phone just got better

With 2013′s HTC One, the Taiwanese manufacturer set the standard for Android device hardware manufacturing and design. Its aluminum unibody paired with awesome components and performance made it last year’s best smartphone (in the eyes of many). This year, it’s back with a new shape, better performance, better hardware design and a weird camera set-up. But can it hold a light to its predecessor? Absolutely. It launches in Magenta flavor on April 11, … [read full article]

One advantage of living in the UK, is that we get many of the newest handsets as soon as they’re available. So, even though T-Mobile isn’t going to be releasing the device for another couple of weeks, I can still bring you the unboxing, and will be publishing a variety of content leading up to the launch to hopefully help you decide whether you’re going to buy this device or choose the Samsung Galaxy S5. HTC One … [read full article]
