T-Mobile Makes Bold Move After Layoffs

Last month, it was announced that 7 percent of T-Mobile’s workforce was getting cut. This roughly translated to 5,000 employees. Shortly after this, the Un-carrier announced the first-ever dividend program for its shareholders to enjoy.  In its announcement, the company is said to be preparing to pay dividends of $3.75 billion in the next five quarters. T-Mobile CEO Sees AI as Way to Help Reduce Churn Rate

In Q1 2023, T-Mobile reported a decline in its churn percentage. Compared to last year’s .93%, the quarter had .89% churn rate, which is something that CEO Mike Sievert is pleased with. After all, T-Mo is the only wireless carrier to have reduced churn rate.
