T-Mobile officially reveals Sprint’s CDMA 3G network shut down date

It’s official! T-Mobile will be shutting down Sprint’s CDMA 3G network on January 1, 2022.  The information was revealed in an internal memo that was obtained by this report. Following T-Mobile and MetroPCS’ merger, the prepaid brand has been slowly shutting down its old CDMA network as well as seeing a new lease of life in other areas, using GSM technology.
