T-Mobile OnePlus 7 Pro security update now rolling out

The OnePlus 7 Pro may be disappearing from T-Mobile’s shelves, but today we’ve got some good news for anyone who already owns the device.

T-Mobile is now pushing an update to its OnePlus 7 Pro. The 312.2MB update is OxygenOS 9.5.11.GM31CB, and it includes the September 2019 Android security patches.

TmoNews reader Ben got this update today, so if you’ve got a OnePlus 7 Pro from T-Mo, you should see it hit your phone in the coming days. You also have the option of checking for it manually if you don’t feel like waiting, and you can do that by jumping into the Settings app and then selecting System > System update > Check for update.

The last update that the T-Mobile OnePlus 7 Pro got was in mid-August, so it’s nice to see another update rolling out and bringing updated security patches with it.

Thanks, Ben!

T-Mobile just needs to push their OnePlus 7 Pro owners to the global version. They are SO SLOW with updates!
