Glad I pre-ordered online last week. I went into the store and all they had available in the Max was 256GB in Gold. Also, it stated I had 2-3 days ground but checked today and it’s out for delivery. Yahoo!

    • Petey07

In my area, one store had no and the other store had 64gb in gold. I ordered in store today and it shows that it will ship between the 21st and 24th. Better than apple, it got push to around 10/5.

You know Apple has to make the phone look like it’s selling like hot cakes when in reality they had 10 or 20 ppl at the most show up at launch lol.

        • Petey07

I do know. I think apple hire random people to hype up the sales by making people camp overnight. It’s good PR. nowadays, no need to wait in line, you can walk in and out .Also I think apple have plenty in stock, but they are controlling how much get ship out weekly, which again makes it look like it’s selling like hot cakes and they want us to think that we need to wait for the next batch to come .

I’m still upset about mine I ordered 20 mins before the preorder launch and our phones won’t be here till Monday yet they’ve been holding both my down payments since last Monday. Wish I had known stores were getting max in stock , only place where 360 protection is covered for screen protectors if purchased in store and applied there , could have been a one stop shop

    • keepitreal25

Plus over the phone they only offered 7 day shipping free , can’tupgrade on the website as they have me jumping from a lg nexus 5 smh

Hmmm my post was deleted. I think the iphone trade in offer is no longer bill credits. IT’s a rebate card now. I posted a link but maybe that’s why it was removed.

    • Alex Wagner

Yep, looks like T-Mobile has updated the $300 off deal to be a rebate rather than monthly bill credits. I’ve updated the post to reflect that. Thanks!

Anyone get $0 down on JoD, yet?

    • steadymobb

only on the regular Xs…Max cost me $100

      • Matt Macaluso

        EIP or JoD?

        • steadymobb

JoD…but it’s the same for both I’m pretty sure. No one has received 0$ on the Max

        • Matt Macaluso

I got care to credit me back the $100.

    • (J²)

Nope, $100 down for the Max 64GB. I think that’s as low as this device will go until the price is reduced ahead of next September.

I’m super well qualified, so this won’t get any better.

    • Petey07

Perhaps for the regular XS, I ordered the XS max on JOD, it was $100 for 64gb, $250 for 256gb..

Are we the existng JOD customers screwed with high down payments and zero promo deal?
I have TMO one plan and 2 lines with 8PLUS and the 8 on JOD. 15 years with TMO. The online wouldn’t allow upgrades. I called , chatted with Tforce and they all say it is $249.99 down on XS 64GB and $30 every month. No CREDIT for sending back the iphone 8 or 8 plus.

Or I have to add a new line and pay for that line for 2 years in order to get $700 off on 2 upgrades.

Any advice on how do do the upgrade?

If none, I will just keep the 8 plus for another year since there is no deal this year

    • (J²)

Since you have an 8 and 8 Plus, I assume neither is paid off since these models came out just last year. Unfortunately, you cannot use phones with a a balance for trade in credit at least not within T-Mobile. You could sell them via a 3rd party and use the payout to pay for the balance on the phone and the down payment.

I’m currently enrolled in Jump on Demand which has much lower down payments because the goal is to lease. I’ve actually refused to use anything burn JOD since it’s launch due to upfront costs and upgrade hassles.

You may be able to have them add Jump on Demand on an existing line (with a balance) or you may need to use lines without a device balance / new line. Depending on who you get, they may be able to do some finangling.

      > Any advice on how do do the upgrade?

Wait until you can reasonably afford to purchase the phone you want, perhaps?

  • Iphart

The notch on the XS Max is big and ridiculous.

  • Erik

iPhones are just crap period. crApple with their greedy azzes. Won’t include the dongle and fast charge. WTH? And the pricing for storage….sheeeeesh. get a Note 9 with 128gb work expandability for $999. Get only 64gb work iPhone for that price. Well…. The smaller one that is.

  • Christopher Olson

With the down payment on the iPhone Max I could buy just about any Flagship outright especially with one plus beginning to sell through TMobile now
