T-Mobile Plans 4G Tablet For 2011

Looks like T-Mobile is feeling a little left out of all the 4G tablet talk as I just received this brief quote in my inbox: “T-Mobile is working closely with the majority of our OEM partners to deliver 4G products by integrating HSPA+ into roadmaps in 2011 as the dominant global standard.  Consumers will continue to see HSPA+ fuel future innovation in a variety of mobile consumer electronics from smartphones and tablets to emerging devices. T-Mobile will … [read full article]

Is Google Planning To Advertise The Nexus S On TV?

Ignoring for a moment the fact that this commercial, if you watched it blindfolded, could easily be mistaken as an ad for the iPhone, it’s actually pretty wonderful.  While we can’t say for sure that we’re looking at an actual TV spot for the Nexus S here, it certainly gives off that aura. It’s a 32-second look at the Nexus S and it just might help sway a few who are undecided as it really does … [read full article]

The myTouch4G Dock Has Arrived!

A wondrous surprise just hit my inbox with the news that the myTouch4G dock has finally arrived in at least one T-Mobile retail store.  Offered as a great way to watch movies, show a recipe or play a game, the Bluetooth Swivel Dock can be all yours for the price of $49.99!  Based on the design of the myTouch4G, it was pretty much assumed that a dock would be coming down the road and, for plenty … [read full article]

Were any of you actually thinking about … [read full article]

Verizon Hoping To Keep The iPhone For Itself After AT&T Exclusivity Ends?

Hoping to not get lost in today’s Nexus S news cycle is a report by analyst Shaw Wu of Kaufman Bros who believes that Verizon will pay to keep the iPhone away from Sprint and T-Mobile.  I believe it’s safe to say that analyst opinions like this are often steeped in fantasy more so than fact but it’s an interesting proposition.  Where we take issue with the logic is that Wu believes Android has begun to … [read full article]

(Updated) Nexus One Owners Begin Receiving Android 2.3 Update Today, Can Set Aside Nexus S Jealousy

Update: This might have been premature with more recent information stating that the Android 2.3 update should be coming in a “few weeks” for Nexus One users.  So after all that, Engadget deleted the story.  Guess no site is perfect. Nexus One owners who might be feeling a little less love from Google today with the official unveiling of the Nexus S might want to reconsider those feelings. Gingerbread, better known as Android 2.3, … [read full article]
