Early T-Mobile LTE Sightings Continue In Oklahoma City, Dallas And Miami

While news has been a little slow in the last few days, T-Mobile is still hard at work building out their LTE network to make their 100 million POPs before the end of Summer goal. With that, another round of LTE sightings has popped up in and around Oklahoma City; Dallas, Texas and some scattered sightings in Miami, Florida. As per our usual warning, these sightings are unofficial and represent what we believe is T-Mobile’s … [read full article]

The combination of T-Mobile’s 4G HSPA+ and LTE networks showed up strong in a new TechHive national survey of the nations four largest networks. T-Mobile’s LTE network is still in its infancy with only seven “confirmed” cities: Baltimore, Houston, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Jose and Washington D.C. T-Mobile’s LTE Network Sightings Begin In Minneapolis, NYC And Detroit

You can file all of this as “unofficial” as is the namesake of TmoNews as an “unofficial” blog for T-Mobile, but LTE sightings are coming en masse out of New York City, Detroit and Minneapolis. While I’m in the camp that all three markets are both in the “fine tuning” and “testing” phase, Minneapolis has been scheduled for a May launch, so there’s reason to suspect things can be happening a little early. As it stands … [read full article]

Speaking at the J.P. T-Mobile’s LTE network is certainly playing catch-up to the nations three largest carriers but the next 60 days should help close the gap between T-Mobile’s limited coverage and that of its competition. There’s still a long way to go to catch up to Verizon, but Sprint is squarely in T-Mobile’s sites with a large group of markets launching in May and June. As always this list is subject to change as are the launch dates so … [read full article]
