T-Mobile Finally Announces T-Mix, but There’s No Price Lock and No Free Third Line

After weeks of “any day now,” T-Mix is finally official. T-Mobile has announced its new pick-your-perks plans, and while a lot of it matches what we’ve been tracking, there are a few surprises worth knowing about.
T-Mobile made it official with the plans arriving in November. T-Mix Standard is $55 a month for one line, More is $75, and Loaded is $95, all with AutoPay. Those numbers line up with the leaked $65, $85, and $105 pre-AutoPay prices we’d seen. Standard gets one Pick, More gets two, and Loaded gets three, with more Picks as you add lines. Versions for 55+, military and veterans, first responders, and college students are on the way, but pricing isn’t out yet.
The perk menu is big: Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, Apple Music, ESPN Unlimited, YouTube Premium, Xbox Game Pass, Google Gemini, Paramount+, DashPass, SiriusXM, and Delta SkyMiles, plus wireless extras like T-Satellite and Optimized Video Calls. Picks also cover phone deals, with an iPhone deal reportedly costing two Picks and an iPhone Pro deal three, locked up for the full 36 months. You’ll get four chances a year to swap partner perks, and unused Picks don’t roll over.
Now the fine print. T-Mobile confirmed there’s no price guarantee on T-Mix, and the free third line is gone. That’s a big shift for anyone who’s been holding onto Price Lock or a free line. T-Mobile Tuesdays sticks around on every plan, at least. If you’ve been following our coverage, you’ll want to compare all this against our T-Mix picks math breakdown, since a few details shifted along the way.
The good news is that nobody’s being forced over. If your current plan is working, especially an older one with a price lock or a free line, you can sit tight. If you’re curious about T-Mix, do the math on which perks you’d actually use and whether you’d rather spend Picks on streaming or your next phone, because on T-Mix, you might not get both.
