Halloween is almost here, and T-Mobile Tuesdays is getting into the spirit with a freebie that’s actually useful long after the candy runs out.

The Mobile Report spotted it in T-Life, today, October 27, T-Mobile is giving away a free 2-in-1 lantern flashlight. It’s got a hook so you can hang it up, a glowing lantern mode, and a flashlight beam from the bottom. The LED on the bottom even rotates, so you can point it into the lantern body for that soft glow or straight out when you need to see where you’re going.

Here’s the best part: it’s one per line, not one per account. So if you’ve got the whole family on your plan, round everybody up and take the whole crew. Just pull up the offer in T-Life, head to a participating T-Mobile store, and show it to an employee. It’s in-store only, so don’t wait too long, since popular freebies tend to disappear fast.

T-Mobile has a long history of light-up giveaways, from the glowing trick-or-treat buckets of Halloweens past to the rechargeable flashlight we saw a couple of years ago, as we covered when T-Mobile Tuesdays’ next giveaway was a rechargeable flashlight.

Whether you use it for trick-or-treating tonight, toss it in your camping gear, or stash it in your emergency kit for the next power outage, this is one T-Mobile Tuesdays freebie that’s worth the trip. Happy Halloween, Magenta fam!
