T-Mobile Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e receiving September security update

Samsung Galaxy S10 owners, it’s time to update.

T-Mobile today began pushing updates to its Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e that bring the September 1, 2019 Android security patches. The updates are around 200MB in size.

These updates are now rolling out over the air, and TmoNews readers Carlos and Daryl got them today. If you’ve got a Galaxy S10, be on the lookout for an update to version G973USQS2BSI4. Galaxy S10+ owners should watch for version G975USQS2BSI4, while Galaxy S10e users will want to keep an eye out for version G970USQS2BSI4.

If you’ve got an S10, S10+, or S10e, you can manually check for your update by launching the Settings app and then selecting “Software update” followed by “Download updates manually”. Let us know when your phone gets its update!

Thanks, Carlos and Daryl!

So this one was strictly security? Wife’s phone got it, if it’s anything but security I just wanted to pass it on.

I recommend not updating….. This has been causing “sim card invalid. ” issues for me ever since.
