T-Mobile updating Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e with new security patches

One week after T-Mobile updated its Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e, it’s begun pushing another update to Samsung’s flagship phones.

T-Mobile is updating the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e with the May 2019 Android security patches. Samsung says that the updates also include “new and/or enhanced features” and performance improvements, but there don’t appear to be any major additions with this update. Once again, these updates don’t seem to include the dedicated Night Mode for the camera app that was recently released to the international S10 variants.

The Galaxy S10 is being updated to version G973USQS1ASD9, while the Galaxy S10+ is getting version G975USQS1ASD9 and the Galaxy S10e is receiving version G970USQS1ASD9.

T-Mo hasn’t updated its Galaxy S10, S10+, or S10e support pages with info on these updates yet, but TmoNews readers Sam, Mike, Paul, Rove, and Always Smile all received their updates over the air today. So if you’ve got an S10, S10+, or S10e, be on the lookout for your own OTA update. You can also check for it manually by going into Settings > Software Update > Download updates manually.

Let us know when your S10, S10+, or S10e has been updated!

Thanks, Sam, Mike, Paul, Rove, and Always Smile!

Downloaded and installed. I see no difference, but it’s updated with May security.

I am pleasantly surprised how quick T-Mobile got the May 1st update out to its S10 line customers. To me, idk much about the new night mode nor do I really have a huge need. It will come when it comes.

And this is why I hate getting phones that aren’t Google PIXELS or iPhones. Slow updates or inconsistent updates.

I used to feel exactly the same tell I came to a realization that the updates don’t really make a big difference for me, as long as I get them some time in the future and their stable, then I’m happy. Honestly I could never give up the sheer quality of Samsung phones for updates.

My S10E with 256gb of internal storage is the best phone I own. I have 2 iPhones, iPad & several others, The S10E blows them all away. No Comparison. Just my opinionā€¼
