Favorite, best thing tmobile/mlb offers. I love having mlb atbat for free!

  • Madmac9

You are able to watch the blackout game 90 minutes after the game is over. I do this all the time during the regular season. Avoid score updates and you’ll be good to go.

  • alex

why do we have to cancel the subscription before march 22nd?? I never had to do that before?

    • MurF-A-Zoid

That what I told Tshirtguy to. Hope we both help him out.

  • tshirtguy

If my subscription from last year ran out, is that considered to be canceled, or do I have to go in and cancel something else to be considered a “new subscriber” for 2019?

    • MurF-A-Zoid

Your subscription should be cancel. You must wait 6 months or more before becoming a new subscriber from what i read.I never had to cancel my Free T-Mobile MLB subscription. Once the Baseball season done in automatic cancel you. So this coming Tuesday I’ll sign back up to MLB with T-Mobile free online link and BAM free MLB 2019 baseball season. Hope that has help you.

I wonder if that guidance is intended for paying subscribers only. Last year I signed up for this promotion for the first time. With this offer, you don’t provide any credit card or other payment information when you redeem the offer, so there is no way for MLB AT Bat to automatically renew.

  • MurF-A-Zoid

HAHA, so true! Trick your MLB account location. So if I was a SF Giant fan I would not put my 559 area code or 93706 zip code. That should fix that.

    • Sharti24

How do you do that? It goes off the gps address of your current device

      • Steve Brennan

If using a phone turn off location services and connect thru a VPN. I set up my VPN on my router so it affects the “location” of each device on my home network.

  • MurF-A-Zoid

Can’t wait for this . Let’s Go Dodgers!!!!! See how much love I’ll get with this post. ha ha. Be nice people…

    • Sharti24

Cant if youre trying to watch on a tv via a roku device

      • Steve Brennan

Not true. You absolutely can if you put a little setup into it. You need to setup your VPN on your router. Most routers support OpenVPN, and most VPN providers have an OpenVN setup.

I use PrivateInternetAccess as my VPN provider, and followed their instructions to set this up on my router. I toggle it on to start the broadcast, then once it connects, I turn the VPN off again.

        • Sharti24

Too much work. I will just listen to the game on the radio like when people used to before television.

        • Sayahh

Too much work. I will just read the box score on the newspaper like when people used to before radio.

and you’ll need to be connected to T-Mobile’s network to sign up

In other words, you have to be on cellular data. It won’t work if your connected to WiFi…

The error message doesn’t really make it clear what the problem is. I kept trying different passwords multiple times over the course of a few days… Finally gave up and asked for help on T-Mobile’s G+ posting for it and someone said you have to be on cellular for it to work.

    • Sharti24

Thats just on initial set up. Just hotspot from your phone to the device youre signing up on. It uses the tmobile ip address so you should be golden to use the app on wifi after you initially register it

    • Yea that only on the initial signup. I mean they have to confirm your a Tom customer don’t they. After that you can watch it anywhere on any connection.

      • JG

My point was that the error message is (or at least was) not helpful.

It needs to say something like “Cannot verify account. Ensure WiFi is turned off” or something like that.

I don’t recall its exact wording, but I know it gave me no indication that my connection was at issue. I kept trying several times over the week trying different passwords thinking maybe it didn’t like me including periods… Or using the + sign in my email or … I finally gave up trying to solve it myself and checked online for help.

But there would be several other ways for them to verify I’m a T-Mobile customer. Just about every other T-Mobile Tuesday give away includes a promo code. Or they could have me enter my phone number to verify it is serviced by T-Mobile…

        • “Ensure WiFi is turned off”

Confusing. Did you try ensuring your wifi was turned off

  • Philip

I can watch this on Roku once I sign up on Tmo?

    • ip247365

yes, I did that last year.

    • I have since they began giving it away years ago. The picture is in high def and I never have lag. It’s one of my favorite streaming apps. I also watch it on my Apple TV 4K. Your going to love it

    • argenys

It works anywhere in there is an At Bat app or a MLB.TV app.

  • argenys

The subscription alone is enough to pick t-mobile over any other provider. But the year they stop is gonna suck. Hopefully that is no time soon.

  • the martian ambassador

That’s why I like the afternoon games in the spring.

  • SneakyPete

This is my third straight year getting tmo gift of mlb tv. Thank you tmo….you’ve come though for this avid baseball fan again! It’s not cheap…at all. In very appreciative!
