Special edition red iPhone 7 launching March 24

UPDATE: T-Mobile says that its pricing for the red iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be the same as the other color options. T-Mo has also confirmed that it’ll sell the 32GB and 128GB iPhone SE models for $16 down and $15.99 per month for 24 months ($399.99 full retail) and $20 down and $20 per month ($499.99 full retail), respectively.

Six months after the iPhone 7 made its official debut in five different colors, Apple is adding a sixth hue to the iPhone’s color palette.

The iPhone 7 (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition is now official. As with Apple’s previous (RED) products, this red iPhone 7 is being offered in partnership with (RED) and helps to contribute money to fight HIV/AIDS.

Both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be offered in red, and they’ll be available starting this Friday, March 24. Apple will sell the devices in stores and online, and select carriers will have them as well. T-Mobile CEO John Legere has confirmed that T-Mo will have the red iPhones available on Friday, too.

Pricing will start at $749 for the 128GB iPhone 7 and go up to $849 for the 256GB model. If you’d prefer the larger iPhone 7 Plus, you can expect to pay $849 for the 128GB model and $949 for the capacious 256GB version.

Apple also announced today that it’s boosting the storage options of the iPhone SE. The smallest iPhone will be available in 32GB and 128GB models, double their previous capacities, starting on March 24. Pricing will be set at $399 and $499, respectively.

Im on jump on demand and it really sucks paying almost $200 for a phone im not gonna keep then have to pay another $200 when the iPhone 8 comes out wish they had a $0 down payment

    • SurvivingSunnyvale

You realize the phone costs $750, right?

If you’re worried about paying a $200 down payment on a $900 phone after taxes then your priorities are messed up.

        • rex2745

How is that bad? Im basically throwing $200 away dumbass il gladly pay the $30 monthly fee instead with a $0 upfront fee and then switch to another phone when a new one comes out that’s the point of JOD why waste $200 on a upfront fee when your not gonna keep the phone and have to return it

        • Mike

well dont buy the phone then if the required $200 down payment is bothering u. obviously the iphone 7 isn’t cheap so why would tmobile only take your $30 a month for a couple months w no down payment. T-Mobile will lose money in the end.

doesn’t suck as much as if you weren’t on jump… i shudder to think what it would cost me to switch from my v20 that i bought outright.

These news are off. It should be $869 for the 128gb iPhone 7 Plus and $969 for the 256gb iPhone 7 Plus (red was said to be the same price in this article, wasn’t it?) It goes up by $120 from the 7 to the 7 Plus and by $100 for the next largest storage options.

It looks sexy af. It would have been better if the front was black instead of white.
