LG G Pad X 8.0 now available from T-Mobile

One year after the LG G Pad F 8.0 hit T-Mobile’s shelves, a new 8-inch tablet from the Life’s Good crew has launched at T-Mo.

The LG G Pad X 8.0 is now available from T-Mobile for $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $10 apiece. You can also snag the G Pad X 8.0 at full retail price for $239.99.

When it comes to specs, the LG G Pad X 8.0 is an upgrade over the LG G Pad F 8.0 in a number of ways. Its 8-inch display has a resolution of 1920×1200, up from the G Pad F 8.0’s 8-inch 1280×800 display, and the G Pad X has also been upgraded to 2GB of RAM from 1GB on the G Pad F. The processors of the two tablets are different, too. with the G Pad X sporting a 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 617 chipset while the G Pad F has a 1.2GHz quad-core processor.

Also included with the G Pad X 8.0 are 5-megapixel front and rear cameras, 16GB of built-in storage, a microSD slot for adding more storage, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. LTE connectivity includes support for bands 2, 3, 4, 7, and 12.

While it may not be a high-end tablet, the LG G Pad X 8.0 is a nice upgrade over the LG G Pad F 8.0 at the same price.

Description says it will let you take and receive calls even when your phone is out of sight. Is it using something similar to numbersync? Also….is THAT the only color? :(

Yes Tmobile is implementing that feature as well but with some kind of a twist we’re yet to hear about

Would be nice if MS did it with Surface.

LG if not mistaken ,have an App for that just don’t remember the name LGConnect or something and only works with LG devices

        It’s QPair.

I read somewhere that it came with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615. I hope it is the Qualcomm 617 because that is a better chip, right? With a better modem?

I read the same ,but I’m planning on going to the store and run CPUID or AIDA64 so will see

I ordered this tablet for reading because it had a full HD screen and it was cheaper than the iPad Mini, but I was about to get the iPad Mini until I saw this tablet. I don’t play games much anymore, so this is good for me. It is lightweight and cheap and I can use my Kindle app on it for reading. Though, I wish it had a higher dots per inch (dpi) than 283 dpi. I was hoping for something over 300 dpi for increased sharpness and screen clarity.

The higher one was Tab Pro 8.4 and Tab S 8.4

I meant the higher Android tablet available at T-Mobile with an 8″ screen.

I Believe it has IR, but no NFC or FM radio.
    16gb not enough… ram ok.

I’d immediately buy it WITH NFC(or if it paired with an NFC smartwatch- I know, doesn’t exist) and IF it was a phone too… at this size or all the way down to 6″.

It’s decent upgrade, but 32gb of storage would’ve been better.

    Wi-Fi version will be G Pad 3 8.0
    All accessories are interchangeable
