Can’t Find An LG Nexus 4 To Buy? That’s Ok, Watch This Video Instead

It may be next to impossible to get your hands on the Nexus 4 right now, but that’s ok as LG posts a new promotional ad showing off the device. So, you may not be able to get your hands on the latest and greatest Nexus device, but that’s ok because  you can look at someone else showing off its capabilities as the premier Google smartphone. The two-minute video highlights Photo Sphere, Google Maps, Google Now, Books and Movies on Google Play, and Android Beam all while showing off the beauty of the hardware.

Take two minutes and check out the video and then try to figure out when Google is shipping the device you ordered two weeks ago. Just kidding.

Or I’ll sell you a galaxy nexus that does almost all those things

      Not here, please.

  • whiteiphoneproblems

Annoying song. Also, why do those people keep leaving their phones on tables and benches…

  • redman12

You can buy mine, look for username Chino0407 on eBay.

Since no selling or trading is allowed here, please make sure you don’t post any $$ amounts. Thank you. :)

How to piss off your potential and existing customers only from LG

    • Josue

lets form a angry mob and go to LG lol

  • kresk

I wish I was able to get an official case/bumper for goodness sake. I shouldn’t complain though. I guess it’s better to have the phone and no case than the other way around.

    Too Small. Also, it’s LG.

    • I would say this is the dumbest comment ive heard all year, but I don’t to get any dislikes, so I wont say it.

      • Scott Sheinfeld

I find it a legitimate enough comment. To small? Ok, matter of taste, granted. But as the writer summed up, the fact it is an LG is enough. I have had every Nexus device since the first and have enjoyed them immensely. However at one point I did get a G2X and a G-Slate. There are dental procedures I would have sooner endured than have lived with these LG products as long as I did. And many others have noted LG’s reputation for (lack of) quality, support or just general follow through. DId we experience these with HTC or Samsung? No, or not to the extent that we did with LG. So as this is the first Nexus I will not get because of LG’s association with it, I find “It’s LG” a very valid comment as to why to steer clear, nay run from this incarnation. I sincerely wish all those who do get the LG Nexus the best experience, but personally I have lost all faith in LG products.

        • Im very sorry for your suffering. NOW, from hearing what you just stated, it sounds as though(albeit I could be completely incorrect) you don’t have an issue with LG on the hardware side but you most definitely had an issue with the Android operating system on the g-slate(which I personally had and got rid of as soon as i tried an ipad) and LG on the software side on the g2x. I’m sure there were some lackings in the gslates innerts, however the samsung galaxy tab was terrible compared to the gslate. My point is that LG is an awesome manufacturing company. They make great TV’s, bluray players, bass guitars, and space shuttles… and yes… phones too.

Now if you waiting for a great phone to purchase, don’t pass up the N4 because of a great manufacturer of hardware because of some software problems, when in this case they HAD NO jurisdiction on this purely google experience. Yes I have this phone(from the blackberry 7100t, the MDA, the Tmo wing, G1, mytouch slide(crap), G2, sensation, and now the mighty nexus 4), yes I love it, yes best phone I’ve ever had, and yes Im running for the president of the New World Order!

because the nexus 4 is the best phone ive used so far. most of my friends love the phone but are upset that they cant get one yet.

  • Perry

Would be nice if I could actually buy one!!!!

  • 0neTw0

I need to get the Optimus G and throw in a T mobile sim card. I live in a reframed network. If the iPhone works then it should too. right!?

  • Joseph Tongret

I want one SOOOOOOO BAD!!! Lol, I just am not up to paying the premium at the moment. But, anyone interested in a decent deal on one(meaning minimal markup) I’ve seen them on Swappa (.Com) at fairly reasonable prices. I’m usually all over any high profile phone that I can run on Tmo, but I’ve been using the Note 2 as my daily driver for quite a while now, and I have other great phones that I don’t even look at anymore. I’m questioning if I’m the mobile junkie I thought I was, or if every device prior to the Note 2 was just lacking the features, the capabilities, the performance, and the experience that I always wanted, and now I finally have it! I look at other devices and drool over specs and numbers on paper, but the first thing to come to mind is trying to go down in screen size, and I just don’t think I could! But wow, the Nexus 4is gorgeous and I’m loving the additions Google has added to the greatest mobile OS!

33 seconds into the video it shows an entire text message displayed on the lock screen, I’ve been trying to figure out how to set this up…any ideas? It doesn’t appear to be the lock screen widget.

  • Dste

Posting this from my amazing nexus 4

    • Did you post from the web, or do you have some kind of app?

      • from the web

        • cool. The web is nice to me, but for some reason I want to do everything from an app. Call me old school lol.

  • Loved it

  • kevin

the sarcasm of this post is too damn high.

  • jeffroks

Vaporware is not hardware. By the time we can get a Google Nexus, the choices will have changed dramatically.

  • tomarone

How did (Google and LG?) stay out of court with Apple?

  • gaih

if only it had the samsung note’s multi window or what ever it called having 2 app opened that would be great hopefully the samsung galaxy s4 will come with it and get a stylus like the note 2

    • Magmaspawn

      It’s not a stylus it’s an S-Pen.

  • guess we’ll wait for someone to leave their Nexus 4 on a bench somewhere eh? c’mon LG lol

  • Wilma Flintstone

LOL this was MAXIMUM Trollage by LG. Wow

  • CrappyExp

The Nexus 4 has given me multiple problems and is becoming a major headache. I have been sent 3 replacement devices all reproducing the same error. Device says its charging and its not, and screen doesn’t turn on when you press the power button only the backlight turns on. 3 devices sent to me within a week and a half…. All refurbished to make it worst. Thank you LG and thank you T-Mobile.

  • steveb944

Omg I love my phone. Honestly it’s not that bad. If you made sure to order with the restock as soon as it popped up then you should have your device in hand. If not, you snooze you lose, like I did with the initial release

  • ziggy123

Could you imagine the profits for LG if they actually had a healthy supply of one of the most anticipated smartphones…DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON! From the G2X to the NEXUS 4, LG has defined corporate incompetency.

  • Faust

Just got my N4 ther other night at a T-mobile that had a few left in stock in store.

Its Everything I had imagined and more in its beauty and design. Truly the best phone out there on the market right now.

Also finally a upgrade for my old G2.
