T-Mobile reveals On Us offer for Google Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro

Earlier today, Google unveiled the much anticipated Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro. Along with the reveal, T-Mobile has also announced that these two devices are headed towards their stores and website. And the best news about this announcement is that new and existing customers can get either device on Us (T-Mobile, that is)! 

Here are T-Mo’s offers for either device:

  • Get Google Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro on Us (up to $900 off) when you trade-in an eligible device on Magenta MAX or get up to $450 off when trading in on any plan
  • Get $500 off Google Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro with 24 monthly bill credits when adding a line on ANY plan

“T-Mobile and Google are back at it again, unleashing the fastest Pixels on the largest, fastest and most reliable 5G network,” T-Mobile Consumer Group President, Jon Freier said. “And we’re not stopping there. These are the first Android devices to showcase the new Ultra Capacity 5G icon, so customers know where they can really fly on our 5G network. And we have offers for both new and existing customers.”

These two new phones are now available for pre-order. They will be making their way to T-Mobile’s stores on October 28th.

      Confirmed – I just pre-ordered the pixel 6 using a 4a5g for trade in and for $450 off of the $599 ticket (plus 6.99 shipping + 36 tax up front). #Deal

        I did a galaxy S9 and got $450. Online wouldn’t work so I called them and they waved the $30 cause my online wouldn’t go through and I said you normally do pre order shipping free so they waved that too. $43 but $450 bill credits so $193 Total.

    Can’t wait to order a Pro in the next month or so. But their options are so limited, idk if I’ll even be able to order through T-Mobile…probably just gonna go the Google route.

    Yeah, this was too good to pass up. They finally got me to move on from my grandfathered plan to Magenta Max. Figured out payments with each of the routes plus perks I’d use often and upgrading my plan was actually cheaper.

      Yikes – I’m on their Value Essentials plan – for me to go Magenta Max it would almost double my bill.

        I was a fairly robust grandfathered unlimited plan that was running me about $66. So if I just did a trade in, I was still looking at a bill that was roughly $86. Considering the new plan comes with Netflix, that saves me on an external Netflix subscription. So I’m already coming out ahead of just trading in a phone and keeping my old plan. The other perks that come with MM will be bonus for me. (Unlimited GoGo and more importantly, Canadian data and calling. Sometimes out on the Olympic Peninsula, I grab Canadian towers instead of US towers. Which my old plan didn’t tolerate for long.)

    Giving the best trade-in offers only to customers with expensive Magneta Max plans isnt very “Uncarrier”
    The amount you save on the phone is not the worth the lifetime increase of $20-40 / month on grandfathered plans

    There no other place to put this,I did submit this as news few days ago.TMO very quietly and without any notice,they ended the free 5g promo,last day for it was Saturday,when I check their site on Sunday it was gone,the phones they were free,are still free with(wait for it!)add a line!!

      Account says ships by 10/28. I’m guessing they won’t ship until next week, maybe on the 26th.

        Honestly, I feel a little cheated! lol I know they still have time to get them out, but I was really hoping for an early delivery. I sure will be happy once I get shipping confirmation.

          Yeah, at this point I’m just hoping that they don’t use slow shipping or that they somehow push back delivery dates for some of us who couldn’t get an order in at exactly go time. I had to wait a few hours and go into the store since the system wasn’t working well.

          I also kept trying to place my order for a few hours until I was finally able to do so. I did pay for expedited shipping (lol, I really did try to get it as soon as I could), but I also hope they don’t push back or change delivery dates. I still hope to get this by the 28th at the latest. Fingers crossed.

          I read somewhere that they were having some issues with the upgrade system instore… They did offer that online, I did not pay for next day air because it was a bit too pricey for me.

        Yeah, I’ve been checking my card and order status all day after seeing some AT&T customers have been getting theirs. I’m still guessing tomorrow though. Today would have been a really nice surprise though.

      I contacted support just to see what they said, apparently my order is scheduled to ship out by tomorrow on the 27th, so, unless they are planning on doing next day as a courtesy (I did not select next day shipping) It looks like I will not be getting this on Thursday. :(

        Bummer. I’m guessing tomorrow is the ship date for all of them then. Technically, allows them to comply with the ship by date but I’m a bit disappointed they didn’t eek it out a little earlier. Sounds like AT&T and Verizon both started shipping early.

          Yeah, I know that all the carriers have at some point sent some preorders early, it figures that the one time I do it on line instead of going to the store is the time they suddenly decide not to do it.

          I was just reading through a thread on XDA that mentioned that on the web view of your order, go to the link for having placed your order with a customer service rep. It opens a new page, don’t login if given the option. Enter the order number, last name, billing address. It looks like it gives more information. Not sure how accurate it is though. Mine shows status of Running. Shipping by two day. Shipping date of 28th, estimated delivery date…. the 28th. Guessing that’s not accurate but hoping to get billed very soon and hopefully ship tonight/tomorrow. Fingers crossed it’s here Friday.

        One out of three? Are you able to gain any insight as to why just one of the three shipped? (6 vs 6Pro, time of order, etc?) I’ve still no activity.

          I got a hold of care last night since my order still says it should be delivered tomorrow. basically (Internally) they have my order scheduled to ship out tomorrow at the earliest. Not delivered by tomorrow, but HOPEFULLY shipping out tomorrow, or later. Needless to say, upset and disappointed.

          Yes sir, I really am very upset, their order system is STILL saying I should have this delivered tomorrow, when I know 100% confirmed that is not the case. They need to make major updates to their systems. I have never had an order placed and ship/arrive on time.

          Yeah, this is a stark reminder why I don’t pre-order phones through Tmobile. Last time I did, it was faster to walk into the store and pick one up day of release. Which is what I did after that. Unfortunately, I asked the store rep this time and he said he didn’t think they would even get any in store. (And then I got home and found out he slammed on an add-on data package to my account.) So I reluctantly pre-ordered. I’m getting a good deal but the wait while watching people who will have had it a week earlier sucks. That and I wanted to do my standard camera test this weekend.

          Yes, completely agree, been there and done that. I basically get the phone for free once I turn in my Pixel 4 5G, so for me it’s a really good deal. but not knowing when retail would have the phones also drove me to pre-order online. I really need to remember this for next time. Too much of a pain.

          Called into CS and the guy told me mine is getting shipped to the store I ordered it from tomorrow and then shipped from there to my place?!? So I talked to TForce on FB and they said it’s shipping tomorrow and magically arriving at my place tomorrow. I have zero faith in Tmo CS at this point. Neither sounds likely.

          Unfortunately, I have found that most CS reps there have absolutley no idea on what they are doing or talking about. I reached out to them on FB and was told that my order (and all pre-orders for that matter) should be shippnig out today and that I should magically get it tomorrow still. At this point all I can do is wait and see what happens.

          And they told me mine would ship this morning even though the date showed later but then I called in this morning and it’s not shipping I did get my 25 bucks back for the fast shipping and it’ll still go out fast but who cares if I got to wait 2 weeks for the stinking phone

          I think that’s what it is cuz they wanted to change my order to a regular pixel I’m like no I want the pro I did get my 25 back for the faster shipping they credited my account so disappointed though I was waiting on this forever

          Judging by delivery date backorders and the fact that it’s impossible to find anyone with good cases still in stock, I’m guessing no one really expected the Pro to do so well. Despite all the hype Google was doing, they must not have either.

        I just got a charge on my card for my black pro. Dealing with Tmo CS has been such a disaster. We’ll see if it ships today or not. So far, UPS isn’t showing that I have anything coming my way.

        Turns out that I had entered my current address into UPS but not UPS My Choice. Did that just now and according to them I’ve got something showing up tomorrow afternoon. We’ll see if that happens or not. If it does though, I need to scramble and get a case ASAP.

      Hey I called in the lady said mine is supposed to ship today even though it says that I think what that is is a generic like anybody that orders one right now will expect it November 12th through the 18th is the way she explained it but she said mine’s supposed to ship today I know I was like you I was really really mad

        Well, I hope you get it, I honestly don’t know what is going on, I just checked again and it now says estimated to ship 10/27-11/01? They have not charged my card, so I this point, all I can do is wait for the confirmation that is shipped. lol I do hope yours does ship today.

        If you don’t have the address set-up in UPS My Choice, I’d go ahead and do that and see if anything pops up. That’s what I had to do. Mine hasn’t shipped yet so I’m not sure if I trust the delivery date yet since I didn’t pay for special shipping. Maybe Tmo is feeling guilty and overnighting everyone’s phones. Looks like mine is coming from Jeffersonville, Indiana.

    Got mine last night and now have had 24 hours with it. First thing, we don’t get the cool pull tabs on the box that you see on all of the reviews. It seems Google needs to address some bugs. My biggie is adaptive brightness outdoors. I was trying to unlock in full sunlight and just couldn’t do it. Outside of that, I’m impressed.

    Has anyone‘s cloudy white pixel 6 pro shipped out yet? Notice some of you guys pixel pro have shipped out but you don’t note the color.. I think the ones that are on back order since pre-order are the cloudy white ones.

      Mine was black. There’s a reddit thread about shipping of the various models and I thought I remember seeing some of the white pros getting shipped.

      Well, I also pre-ordered the Cloudy White Pro, and mine now it is scheduled to ship on 11/18/21, I called some stores and apparently they do have the standard Pixel 6 available, the issues seem to be mainly with the Pro version.

    Just to update, the Coudy White Pro is now on BO until the middle of January, I canceled that order and placed a new one wtih the same promotion for the Stormy Black that they do have in stock. I even paid for next day since I am sick and tired on wating on this. Hopefuly this order goes out without any issues.
