Alcatel Joy Tab tablet leaks out ahead of T-Mobile launch

We’ve seen a few Alcatel tablets hit T-Mobile shelves over the years, and now it looks like another model is coming soon.

The Alcatel Joy Tab for T-Mobile has leaked out. Images shared by Evan Blass show a pretty plain-looking black tablet with “4G LTE” in its status bar and an Alcatel logo on its backside.

Specs for the Alcatel Joy Tab aren’t included in today’s leak, but we can see front and rear cameras as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack on top of the device. It has a vertical orientation much like the Alcatel 3T 8 that T-Mo launched last year, suggesting that this Alcatel Joy Tab could have a 7-inch or 8-inch screen. We can also see that the back appears to have a textured pattern.

If this Alcatel tablet is anything like the previous models that T-Mobile has sold, it’ll likely launch with a budget price tag. These devices give consumers an affordable option for a new tablet with built-in cellular connectivity, and this new Alcatel Joy Tab looks like it’ll continue to fill that role. Now we just have to wait for T-Mobile’s announcement to get its feature set and price.

Yawn. The last two were at 1/8 & 2/16gb.

Now, there is a market for one, with no missing Tmo bands, at 4-6+/64-128+gb, QHD, NFC, and a removable or extended or add on battery.
It could often replace carrying a phone plus a tablet, especially for us larger folk. And of course, for a foldable one too.

How about selling Lte windows enabled tablet like the other 3 sell instead of Samsung android or ipad? Or even lte enabled laptop like before?
