OnePlus 6T will ship with Android 9 Pie in tow

Today we can add another entry to the list of confirmed OnePlus 6T features.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed that the OnePlus 6T will ship with Android 9 Pie in tow. Lau didn’t have anything else to say about the OP6T, but OnePlus did recently tease that the phone will have “a whole new UI” as well as camera improvements and an action that’ll let you hold the power button for 0.5 seconds to launch Google Assistant.

The OnePlus 6T will be officially revealed on October 30th. Rumors have suggested that it’ll be sold by T-Mobile in the U.S., which would be a big deal because that’d make the OP6T the first OnePlus phone to be sold by a U.S. carrier. It’d also expose the OnePlus 6T to more consumers and give T-Mo customers the chance to buy the OP6T on EIP or JOD.

Now that flagships from the likes of LG, Razer, Samsung, and Google have been revealed, are you looking forward to the OnePlus 6T? Or have one of those other devices earned your money?

depends on the price. The Pixel 3 was $799 released. So anything above $600 I would say is not worth it, to go straight to the Pure Pixel 3.

Last rumor I saw placed the 8/256GB model at around $615, which would be fine with me. If T-Mo does end up selling the device, I really hope that’s the model they go with at

You know that if they only carry one size that won’t be it. This is T-Mo we are talking about here. :P

I hope they carry not only more than one size, but the full color range as well. OnePlus phones have some gorgeous color options, it would be a shame to only have it in black.

I’m disappointed by the lack of a headphone jack. Depends on the price, it could do well.

Same here. Was planning to upgrade my OnePus 3 to the 7 next year, but I’m sure the headphone jack will be missing then as well, so I may have to consider another device.

The nice thing about being an Android user is that one has plenty of choices!

Not plenty of high end Android devices with a headphone jack though.

    All about the megapixels.

I want a change from Samsung but I’m not sure if I want to make the change to iOS or go pure Android. If the screen isn’t trash I’ll be picking this up over the Pixel 3 or the 3 XL or the XS. I am also considering just waiting a year and buying the Nokia 7.1 unlocked since it has Android One, is guaranteed updates and is only $350 (and will be cheaper during the holiday season). I personally believe this is the year to wait on a phone, they’ve been using the 845 for almost 2 years.

If I’m spending $1000+ even in installment payment, I will wait until the next big jump in tech. I just want security and a nice screen is that too much to ask for? I want a headphone jack but none of the other phones I’m interested in have one either.

Why can’t they just say if they are going to have it??
