too bad it is one pandora per account, not per line.

    • Snackpack

Not any different than the Netflix deal.

      • Pook

the problem is Pandora doesn’t allow more than one music stream per account. You have to have the family plan for more than one stream. NetFlix has 3 streams with the one you get for free.

Ummm…excuse me, sir. Your entitlement is hanging out. You might want to tuck it back in.

    • Ben Borenstein

LOL. You are getting Pandora for FREE and you are complaining that it’s per account and not per line? Are you serious? Go check out VZW or AT&T – share with us what freebies they are giving away. Oh yea, NOTHING!

    • Encino Stan

I could have sworn that I heard them say it was one per line during the live uncarrier broadcast. But it isn’t worth my time to go back through the recording and find it.

Here is the exact verbiage from the T-Mobile Tuesdays page:

“We’re hooking up every T-Mobile account with a free Pandora Plus subscription! Primary account holders can grab a code to unlock their free subscription on August 28th.”

If your other lines use the same Google Play userid/account, you should be able to install the app and use the free subscription on any of those devices, HOWEVER, you’ll only be able to have one active session at a time. That’s the way the Sirius XM trial is working.

  • Sayahh

Shoot, I totally forgot to get my bag yesterday…

  • steveb944

Good timing for the notebook as school just started.
Glad to see the fuel again. Since it was in hiatus I signed up for Exxon rewards but ultimately they weren’t in the same realm as Shell.

    • Pook

You are aware that notebooks tend to be less than $1 around this time of the year, right? A freebie is a freebie, but definitely not worth running out to the bookstore just to get that one thing.

      • steveb944

You are aware most things offered are in the same price range and it’s ~$3, right? If it’s on the way might as well stop by, that goes for Tmobile store items too.

  • PC_Tool

Still no deets on the Pandora – like what happens if you already have a Pandora account.

    • Francisco Peña

you cancel your service, and fill out the form that we all know you will have to do for this to apply it.

      • PC_Tool

Well, I did not have to do that for Netflix and my guess is that there will be something similar.

Time will tell, I suppose. I just wish T-Mobile would tell. ;)

  • Red

hehe… “25 cents off a gallon of gas”? I really hope you mean *per* gallon of gas :-D

Hi, I’d like to get my single gallon of gas, please? :-D

    • Pook

Nope, just one gallon. You’ve been #thanked.

    • Francisco Peña

people buy 1 Gallons to fill up their lawn mowers and weed whackers.

  • pda96

1 year of Pandora Plus is the best perk ever!

    • PC_Tool

dunno, man. That free T-Mo One unlimited line was pretty sweet.

  • PostmanLV

Pandora devs are clueless, last few updates it will not remain in memory or connect to autos with pandora capabilities

  • Michael Butterboo

Did anyone manage to get their Pandora freebee to show up in the app yet? I’ve been trying since I got up this morning and still nothing. I have 7 lines but I’m the primary so I don’t think I’d have to check the other lines.

    • Anthony S Jennings

Nothing so far except an item in the Messages inbox saying get Pandora.

    • the martian ambassador

I got the offer and redeemed it. It will only show up on one line, and mine came on the non-primary line (have 2 lines) so you should check all your devices.

      • Michael Butterboo

That’s sad because I can’t get to everyone on my family plan today. It should be like it says and only show up for the primary. Some of my family line members don’t even know how to fully work their phones let alone get a Tmo app installed. Thank you for answering me, though. Maybe I’ll get a Tmo chat started online really quickly.

        • the martian ambassador

I would try the chat on the T-Mobile website, they might be able to help.

I think you might be able to do it on the website. Go to
t-mobiletuesdays dot com then click on My Stuff, it will prompt you to login to T-Mobile, I think you can redeem it there.

        • Michael Butterboo

Thanks. I did try that already and still got nothing. I was able to get another family members phone just now. I downloaded the app and they didn’t get the offer either, which I’m strangely sort of glad about. It says “qualifying plan req’d” and I’m on the older Simple Choice plan. Maybe that’s why? If so, I’d understand I guess seeing as they want people on their newer plans. Just now waiting in line to chat.

        • the martian ambassador

I got an e-mail today from T-Mobile about signing up for this. It does say in the fine print qualifying plan required, not sure what that means. You could always call tech support and ask them if your plan is covered. Good luck.

  • Shawn Nuocmam

    I don’t see the link!

    • Michael Butterboo

Give them a quick chat before the end of the day. They’ll get it to show up for you. They were having trouble in the morning.

  • Michael Butterboo

Thanks to @jamesgmx:disqus for the suggestion to chat with Tmobile. Just for the sake of info, for anyone not receiving the link to redeem the Pandora freebee, I contacted Tmobile through their online chat and the rep informed me –

“Upon checking here due to high volume of customer’s who are claiming the offer we had some system issue with regards on the Pandora Plus offer. Good this is that, our Engineering Team is already aware about this and is currently working towards resolution.”

He said check back in an hour and it should be resolved. This has been resolved for me, but I had to chat with a rep at first to get the link to even show up. Hope this helps.

    • the martian ambassador

That’s good. I wonder what percentage of customers participate in T-Mobile Tuesday offers. Must be high.

  • Guillermo Eduardo Ortega-ibarr

Any one also mad about only getting 1 code per account SMH T-Mobile. I have 5 lines so the rest of my family it’s out of luck
