After releasing the ZTE ZMAX Pro on MetroPCS last year, ZTE has now revealed its latest phablet for prepaid.

The ZTE Blade Z Max will launch on MetroPCS on August 28th for $129. It runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat on a 6-inch 1920×1080 display and it’s packing an 8-megapixel camera for all of your selfie needs.

Around back there’s a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. With these two cameras, you can apply effects to your photos like blurry backgrounds and monochrome.

Also included with ZTE’s Blade Z Max is a Snapdragon 435 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage (21GB available to the user), a microSD slot for adding even more storage if you need it, and a rear fingerprint reader. Powering the whole package is a 4080mAh battery, and there’s Quick Charge 2.0 tech included as well so that you can recharge that large battery in a hurry.

The ZTE ZMAX Pro offered features like a large display, microSD slot, and fingerprint reader in an affordable package. While the ZTE Blade Z Max is a bit pricier, it also offers improved features like a larger battery and a dual rear camera setup. So if you’re in the market for an affordable Android phone on MetroPCS, the ZTE Blade Z Max could be worth a look.
