T-Mobile Galaxy Note 5 receiving security update

Heads up, Galaxy Note 5 owners, because a new update is now coming your way.

T-Mobile is pushing a new update to its Galaxy Note 5 that weighs in at 209.56MB, according to TmoNews reader Jean Carlos, who received the update earlier today.

After installing the update, the Note 5 is on the May 1, 2017 Android security patch level, which is up from the March 1 patch level that the Note 5 was on after getting Android 7.0 Nougat last month. This new update is version N920TUVU4EQE1.

If you’ve got a Note 5 on T-Mobile and haven’t yet updated, you can check for this update by going into Settings > About device > Download update manually, or you can sit back and wait for the update to come to you.

Thanks, Jean Carlos!

LMAO, the S8 didn’t even have the May 1st patch. Anyways, Samsung and T-Mobile aren’t reliable with timely updates.
