    No MT4G Price drops :(

    • Nah, best chance for that is a Wirefly or Amazon kind of deal, then again, I MIGHT know something about a Radio Shack deal coming up!

      • New POST!!!

MT4G is better than free at Wirefly now.
$49.99 plus $30 bill credit, free shipping, no tax, and $30 to $50 cashback depending on whether you order through Bank of America, eBates, FatCash, UPromise, etc.

Could be lower. I think other places might be offering lower prices than that. Not to mention I hate MIRs; I love instant, like Best Buy usually does.

David where’s our 4G MiFi? That’s the T-Mobile product I want for my employees!!!!! ;-) Sorry to thread jack.

Nice. Hey any price drop is good. I know alot of people will jump on this reduction. I, however, am waiting for that Intel Moorestown Meego Tablet to drop onto Tmo. When that happens, I’m going to be on my roof about to sprout wings and fly to Paradise. Here’s a link showing an early version of the Intel Moorestown running Meego:

put “www” in front to see the video. That tablet is looking amazing already.

    • Thanks for the video man. All have to say is WOW, this tablet is def impressive! I will be keeping an eye on this bad boy in the coming months.

This would be great if we knew whether or not the Vibrant was getting Froyo or Gingerbread. I don’t want to spend the money only to have another Cliq XT on my hands.

There is no question on if, it’s when and when is when T-Mobile is done testing Froyo…

    • More like when will someone port 2.3 android to the vibrant? Will it be Samsung that gives us 2.3?

    • Anonymous

LOL… Im on 2.2 on Vibrant already… Not some ROM, but leaked official TMO 2.2

      • Yeah right, what thread is this? All the top devs for this device don’t have this imaginary rom posted, unless you know something I don’t know…

        • Ijerknswagg

What is the big deal that I am missing?? I’ve had froyo for about 2 months on my Vibrant maybe longer.

    • Anonymous

Samsung’s already said “yes” on Froyo and “maybe” on Gingerbread for the Vibrant…

      • Cccheel

Just like they said the Vibrant would be getting Froyo sometime in September, then October, then December…..

At the end of August I had high expectations of gettin FroYo by my birthday which was Sept 25th. I no where near thought that January was a more likely time frame. I would SMH but I’m running Obsidian so its all good.

Samsung also told Behold II users they would get an updated Android and we all know how that turned out. I’m a Vibrant owner, and while I love the phone, I very disappointed that this “promised” update appears to not be happening.

  • Wondercoolguy

*yawn* 50 bucks is 50 bucks but you are still giving the money upfront. That and no froyo and 2.3 out tomorrow and dual cores possibly next month….whats the point of either product….

Sorry to correct you David, but the current BOGO does not include the Vibrant. Still, I’ll sell a lot more Vibrants now.

Raise your hand if your in your car right now on your way to pick up a Galaxy Tab now…? No one? Thought so.

  • rickb928

Don’t we see price drops just before new releases? Or in the case of the Tab, when the market uptake is found to be way too low and not getting better?

  • Anonymous

How about they keep the price the same and add back the phone call hardware…
