T-Mobile offering free calling, texting, and unlimited data to Florida customers affected by Hurricane Irma

Days after offering free calling, texting, and data to customers in Puerto Rico affected by Hurricane Irma, T-Mobile is extending a similar offer to customers in Florida.

Through September 15th, T-Mobile and MetroPCS customers in Florida affected by Hurricane Irma will get free calling, texting, and unlimited data. This offer is available to customers in the following area codes:

239, 305, 321, 352, 386, 407, 561, 689, 727, 754, 772, 786, 813, 850, 863, 904, 941, 954

Additionally, T-Mobile is offering free calling and texting from the U.S. to the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos, as well as waiving roaming fees on calls and texts for customers in those locations. This offer will run through September 15th.

    Shouldn’t this be based on your billing address or 911 address? Rather than area code. I know people who live there that have area codes from another state.

      It’s people in the area codes, not people that have said area codes :)

      People can have billing addresses elsewhere and still be here too. With online payments, you cna be anywhere.

    Seems like T Mobile ia the most fragile network. Was without data for over 24 hours. All Verizon neighbors worked fine however.
