David, I’m sure that people actually forget that besides doing this site, you also have a life, and a new wife, who I am sure is taking up a lot of your time.

        • Why

Why have a wife when you can have more then one women??? I’m sure at some point your wives wil cheat =)

        • shendoh

Wow, that can be taken as a personal shot at someone else’s wife.  Just because your morals are corrupt does not mean everyone else shares your lack of integrity.

On a more related note, does anyone know how risk free the revolutionary method is?

    FINALLY! I WANT STOCK ANDROID!

  • http://twitter.com/xxmonkey92 Tulio Mesa

so i had issues with the 2.3.4 update my phone gets stuck on reboot after 40-50% battery life, when it reboots it appears at 3% or no battery life, stays idle and shuts off. Also the phone sometimes gets stuck and reboots when i press the home button, and another issues is that i press the home button and it starts taking screenshots.

So do you think this unlock can help fix this or do we have to wait for a 2.3.5?

    • W4fflesxboxlive

That is completely abnormal, I highly recommend calling tmobile and havig your phone replaced through warrenty

    Does it void the warranty?

    • J-Hop2o6

oops, meant to hit reply, not like, lol.. but yes.. the HTC way will 100% void.. they have your phone in their database if u do it.. so just do the revolutionary process.

Thanks David for all of your hard work.  My wife and I love your site…you’re a major reason why we’re still with T-Mobile.  You bring excitement to their company!!

If I unlock the bootloader, but do not install any custom rom will everything work the same? I don’t mind HTC Sense, but I would really like to take advantage of some of the apps the are only available on rooted devices and would really like to delete some of the t-mobile bloatware that is doing nothing but taking up space………….

If you unlock the bootloader and acquire root, everything will work the same given you go through those processes correctly. It will basically be the exact same as stock except you’ll be able to use apps that require root and delete bloatware. That said, you’ll probably want to try custom roms out, because the process of installing them is very easy (download zip, attach Sensation to computer via usb, on your Sensation set it to mount the disk drive when the prompt comes up, copy the ROM’s zip onto your SD card, go into recovery on the Sensation, and install the zip). If you’re wanting to delete bloatware because you think it will improve performance or reduce lag, I can tell you it certainly won’t. If you really want to reduce lag inherent to the Sensation, you’ll have to try a custom ROM out.

thanks…..The lag has greatly improved since the last OTA update, but I will definitely explore the custom Rom’s that are out there.

    • Youngt82

Yes everything will and should work just fine
