T-Mobile now selling Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and Galaxy Watch Active 2

T-Mobile confirmed a couple of months ago that it would sell the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and Galaxy Watch Active 2, but we never heard much else about the two devices after that. Well if you’ve been waiting for these Samsung devices to arrive at T-Mo, your wait is over.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and Galaxy Watch Active 2 are now available from T-Mobile. TmoNews readers Steve and Josh spotted both devices on T-Mo’s online store, meaning they were recently added to T-Mobile shelves without an official launch announcement.

When it comes to pricing, the Galaxy Tab S6 is $29.00 down and $29.00 per month for 24 months or $725.00 full retail. The Galaxy Watch Active 2 starts at $0.00 down and $17.92 per month for 24 months or $429.99 for the 40mm model. If you’d prefer the larger 44mm version of the Galaxy Watch Active 2, you can expect to pay $0 down and $18.75 per month or $449.99 full retail. Neither device will be offered through JUMP! On Demand.

As a refresher, the Galaxy Tab S6 is Samsung’s new high-end Android tablet, boasting a 10.5-inch 2560×1600 Super AMOLED screen with in-display fingerprint sensor, quad speakers, a Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage along with a microSD slot to add more storage. There’s a 7040mAh battery in there, too, along with 13MP regular and 5MP ultra wide rear cameras and an 8MP selfie cam. An S Pen stylus is included with the Tab S6, and there’s even a spot on the back of the tablet with the S Pen can attach magnetically and charge.

The 40mm Galaxy Watch Active 2 is equipped with a 1.2-inch full color Always On Display and 240mAh battery, while the 44mm version has a 1.4-inch screen and 320mAh battery. They’ve both got 1.5GB of RAM and 4GB of storage, a dual-core Exynos 9110 processor, LTE, and NFC. You navigate Samsung’s Tizen software using the Galaxy Watch Active 2’s touch bezel.

Now that they’re available from T-Mobile, are you interested in either the Galaxy Tab S6 or Galaxy Wath Active 2?

Thanks, Steve and Josh!

The watch is nice but I had two complaints. First, bixbie sucks. Second, the watch faces aren’t as customizable as the Apple Watch. Otherwise, it’s nice

    • Linx

Hearing that Anything is not “as customizable as Apple” is quite interesting to hear.

      • Android_God

Oh dear God, not this $hit again

there are lots of watch face options you can pay for or watch advertisements to install but they don’t do complications the same way as apple watch. Only certain faces support certain complications. I had to compromise a lot being used to an Apple Watch.

        • Erik

You can use any complications with the Galaxy watches. I have the Galaxy Watch, and I can set it up with any way I so choose. I know ppl with the Apple watch and they be saying they wish their watch can do what the Galaxy can do. Also that wish they had more faces to choose from.

        • Andrew

If by any you mean the 31 complications, most of which are workout/health related, yes. The options sucked. If you owned an Apple Watch you would understand.

i have one , the watch faces are coool ,and if you download watcher maker you can customize ANYTHING on the watch. even launch tasker task

  • noksucow

I won’t consider that watch until they drop the data plan for it to about $5. Even that may not do it.

    • dejanb

If you have an existing T-Mobile account they give you $10/month discount so in the end you do pay $5/month for the watch plan. I’ve had one for 2 years and although it isn’t super useful most of the time it has been cheap enough to be worth it when I really need it.

  • Note10Plus IsBOSS

Definitely buying the Watch Active 2 LTE version Thursday laid in the weeds for that to add it to my industry leading Note10Plus.

TabS6 will be joining the family by the end of November #SamsungKnights always represent owning the best.

Do they let you wear those crappy watches when you work the graveyard shift at McDonald’s?

  • riverhorse

Seems like no 600mhz on the tablet…

  • Nice about time tmobile carry Samsungs nore premium tablets

  • Nionx

I was considering the Tab S6 to pair with a new flagship device, but then I tried the Galaxy Fold and fell in love. A phone and tablet all in one futuristic device. If you haven’t gotten a chance to experience it, you definitely should.

  • Nionx

I tried the Watch Active 2 and came away disappointed. I feel the Gear S3 is a more solid device that, though its older, is overall the better watch.

  • Albert Orange

I wonder if you slob SAMEsung’s knob for financial gain? That’s why you are always on their jock?

  • the martian ambassador

I have the Tab S4 and very happy with it. Glad to see they are continuing to produce these high end tablets. It’s expensive but this one is giving you more RAM the latest processor, and a huge AMOLED display. Worth the money !
