The iPhone 11 isn’t the only new handset that Apple revealed today. In fact, it’s got two other models coming this month.

The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are the follow-ups to the iPhone XS and XS Max, and they’ve got a few notable upgrades. The first one you’ll probably notice is the addition of a third rear camera. Apple has added a 12MP ultra wide angle camera with 120-degree field of view to its Pro iPhones, and there are 12MP wide angle and 12MP telephoto cameras included as well.

Some of the new software features coming with the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max cameras include Night Mode, which will give you brighter shots with reduced noise in low-light environments, as well as the ability to choose wide or telephoto framing when you’re snapping Portrait Mode shots. Apple also touts that the telephoto camera on the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max uses a larger aperture to capture 40 percent more light than the iPhone XS, and Smart HDR uses machine laerning to recognize subjects in the frame of your photo and relight them for more natural-looking photos.

The display on the iPhone 11 Pro is a 5.8-inch 2436×1125 OLED panel that Apple calls Super Retina XDR, while the iPhone 11 Pro Max gets a 2688×1242 OLED Super Retina XDR screen. Both displays have been upgraded to offer up to 1,200 nits of brightness, and HDR, Dolby Atmos, and Dolby Vision support is included, too. Haptic Touch will let you use app shortcuts to quickly jump into a certain part of an app, like the selfie mode in the Camera.

The Apple A13 Bionic processor inside the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max offers up to 20 percent faster CPU and GPU performance compared to the A12 chip in the iPhone XS and XS Max.

Another notable upgrade with the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max involves battery life. Apple touts that iPhone 11 Pro will get you up to four hours of additional battery life over the iPhone XS, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max can get up to five hours of additional battery life over the iPhone XS Max. And to help you refill those batteries more quickly, Apple will include its faster 18W power adapter with each Pro phone.

The body of the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max feature IP68 water and dust resistance, and both models come with a textured matte glass black and stainless steel band. They’ll be available in four finishes, including Midnight Green, Space Gray, Silver, and Gold.

When it comes to cellular connectivity, the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max include support for LTE bands 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/14/17/18/19/20/25/26/29/30/34/38/39/40/41/42/46/48/66/71. There’s 4×4 MIMO and LAA support in there, too, as well as dual SIM with eSIM support.
