T-Mobile OnePlus 6T now receiving July security update

OnePlus 6T owners, it’s time to update again.

T-Mobile is now pushing an update to its OnePlus 6T that bumps the phone to version A6013_34_190725. It’s a 308.9MB update that includes the July 1, 2019 Android security patches. T-Mo hasn’t updated its OnePlus 6T support page with info on this new update yet, so it’s not know what, if any, other improvements might be included.

This update is now rolling out over the air, and TmoNews reader Colby as well as some users on Reddit have gotten it already. You can manually check for the update on your OnePlus 6T by going into Settings > System > System update > Check for update.

It’s good to see the T-Mobile OnePlus 6T get another security update one month after its previous update. Plus, it looks like the T-Mo flavor of the OnePlus 6T is getting the July 2019 security patches ahead of the unlocked model, which is a nice little surprise for owners of the T-Mobile version.

Phone updated last night while on the charger and the phone was off when I woke up this morning. I would of missed my alarm if I had one set. You should be asked to update your phone and when you want to update it,

Mine also updated by itself, but mine did restart on its own. I wish I had to opportunity to review the update and say when to install it
