T-Mobile is starting the week with updates for a few Samsung devices.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy Note 8, and Galaxy S8 Active are all receiving updates from T-Mobile. Note 9 owners should be on the lookout for a 246.47MB update to versos N960USQS1CSF1. It doesn’t appear to include a dedicated Night Mode like the international model recently received, but it does have the June 1, 2019 Android security patches.

Also being updated is the Galaxy Note 8. This update is 203.14MB and is version N950USQS5DSF5. Like the Galaxy Note 9 update, this Note 8 update includes the June 1, 2019 Android security patches.

Finally, the Galaxy S8 Active is receiving a 188.74MB update to version G892USQS5BSF1. This one, too, includes the June 1, 2019 Android security patches.

These updates are now rolling out over the air, so if your Note 9, Note 8, or S8 Active hasn’t updated yet, it should get its update in the coming days. If you don’t feel like waiting, you can check for your update by heading into your phone’s Settings app and tapping on “Software update” and then “Download updates manually”.

Let us know when your Note 9, Note 8, or S8 Active gets updated!

Thanks, Brent and Debjit!

Why hasn’t the T-Mobile S8 Active been updated to Android Pie 9.0 when all the other Galaxy S8 models have???

Yeah also waiting for S8+ (my biz phone) still on April 1 security update.

Finally, installed Pie update and security updates thru 6.1.19 this weekend for Note 9 personal phone as well as a lot of play store apps.

Pies growing on me don’t like light blue on blue buttons with theme I’ve been using since S8+ (Twilight blue) doesn’t play well with Pies Buttons (not screen icons) but Galaxy S5s marshmallow like setting buttons.
