T-Mobile Galaxy Note 9 now receiving security update

T-Mobile is starting the week with a Galaxy Note 9 update.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is now receiving an update from T-Mobile that bumps it to version N960USQU1CSC1. The update weighs in at 271.81MB and includes the March 1, 2019 Android security patches. No other improvements or fixes have been announced.

If you’ve got a Galaxy Note 9, you should see this update roll out to your phone over the air in the coming days. You can check for it manually by going into Settings > Software update > Download updates manually if you don’t feel like waiting for the update to come to you.

Galaxy Note 9 owners, let us know when this update hits your device!

Thanks, Oleg and Guillermo!

Why the March security update? We’re near the end of April already.

C’mon TMo, you can do better….

      New to TMO? lol

Actually…..I’m TMo’s longest continuously running customer…over 20 years, in fact. And….yet, a critic….Can’t let them stand on any laurels. ;)

Got it this morning, which was super surprising as it is only mid-April. I can generally count on waiting 2-3 months for any update to finally make it to my phone.
