T-Mobile offering free calling and texting to Mexico following earthquake

Following the powerful earthquake that hit Mexico’s southern coast, T-Mobile has announced that it’s making it free for customers to call and text that region.

T-Mobile customers can call and text from the U.S. to Mexico for free until September 10th. MetroPCS customers are getting free calling and texting to Mexico, too.

The earthquake that recently hit Mexico was a deadly one, with reports saying that more than 60 people have been killed. It’s important for people to be able to contact any loved ones they may have in Mexico, and so it’s good that T-Mobile is making it free for all of its customers to call and text from the U.S. to Mexico.

Older legacy plans don’t have free calling or texting to Mexico, it’s usually a $10 add on for those who don’t have it.
