Next week’s T-Mobile Tuesday includes $2 movie ticket, Dunkin’ Donuts prizes

Coffee drinkers, next week’s T-Mobile Tuesday is aimed at you.

The T-Mobile Tuesday for March 21 will offer a $2 Dunkin’ Donuts promo card for T-Mobile customers. T-Mo subscribers will also get 30 percent off local deals on Groupon (up to $40 off) and a $2 movie ticket from Fandango that’ll be good on Tuesday only.

Next week’s prizes all come from Dunkin’ Donuts. Two grand prize winners will each receive one year of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee, in the form of a $560 Dunkin’ Donuts gift card. That’s based off the purchase of five large hot coffees per week at a price of $2.15 each for 52 weeks.

Fifty first prize winners will each get 26 weeks of Dunkin’ Donuts in the form of $280 Dunkin’ Donuts gift cards. And 300 second prize winners will each get one month of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee in the form of a $50 Dunkin’ Donuts gift card.

One final detail worth mentioning is that if you win any of the Dunkin’ Donuts prizes and you live in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington, Wyoming or Puerto Rico, you’ll receive a check for the value of the gift card that you would’ve won.

I didn’t even realize that we didn’t have a Dunkin’ Donuts in Washington anymore until I looked it up. Really shows how much I care about Dunkin’ Donuts.

I was reading this trying to think of the nearest DD I could remember and calculating the round trip costs (~$15), thinking of how I’d be screwed by this prize, when I then came upon the last paragraph. Long story short. I’ll take a check. I have no problem with that.

  • tranceformer978

This promo’s useless, there’s no Dunkins up here in Boston.

    • BlueBlood86

What are you talking about every other block in southie there’s a Dunkin.

      • Thomas Stinson

I agree DD is everywhere in Florida

    • Mark

      that’s hysterical!

    • MattPortland

      None in Portland,OR either.

    • Francisco Peña

      None in Bah’sten?

  • lomsha

Movie ticket Tuesday only = useless.

    • SurvivingSunnyvale

Just like last week’s “free” guac & chips for the low price of giving your phone number to Chipotle to spam you.

      • lomsha

Yep, at least the $4 ticket from a few weeks ago was valid till the end of the week.

        • Francisco Peña

That was good. Went to a conference and snuck out one night to see logan

    • Dave Molina

I’ll use ours to take my mom to see the new Beauty and the Beast!

    • dan428

No it isn’t.. not quite as convenient but I’ve taken advantage of all of them. Just gotta get a showing after work and few hours before bed

      • voodoogirl47

It’s a little bit harder for some people. I work from 7am-6pm on Tuesdays. I might take a few minutes to discuss the day as I’m a nanny. I’m a live-in so I have no commute, but dinner is part of my pay. Since I need to eat, I either get it for free or if I were to go out, I’d have to pay for something quickly on my way to the movie. That defeats me saving money on the movie cost. Since I can go see most movies I want on Saturday with matinee prices being $7-12, that’s $5-10 for food to equal a movie ticket cost. Even if I were to eat at home, by the time I got to a theater, it would be 6:45-7pm. Have to find a movie starting right then, out by 9pm, home by 9:45pm, then have to get ready for bed right away. It’s a tight squeeze and after an 11 hr shift, really the last thing I’d want to do.

So movie Tuesdays are out for me. I liked the $4 ticket that we could use all week instead. I really like the free FandangoNOW download.

      • lomsha

Yea personally after a 12 hour shift i couldn’t possibly pay attention to a movie.

    • Sayahh

I guess I’ll be watching Logan on Tuesday.

      • MattPortland

        Do it!!

      • lomsha

        Great choice

      • SirStephenH

It’s the only good movie out right now. Unfortunately I already saw it with the $4 ticket a couple of weeks ago.

        Definitely worth a watch.

        • GersonT1000

I loved the $4 ticket. I was able to watch Logan on IMAX. I can’t believe people actually pay those full prices it comes out to about $30/ticket!

  • steveb944

So I have to remember never to move to Alaska, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington, Wyoming or Puerto Rico.

    • dan428

Why.. I’ll take the cash over some gift card to a donut shop. It’s not like we don’t have other donut shops and thousands of coffee places in Seattle.. I guess we’re just not fat enough to support dunkins business lol

      • steveb944

You’re from Seattle, I’m from Boston. Enough said.

        • dan428

Don’t really know what your point is..

        • steveb944

I’m taking the high road. Starbucks vs Dunkin. Plus we did it first.

      • MattPortland

Yeah, absolutely no decent coffee in the Pacific Northwest.

    • SirStephenH

We have a coffee shop on virtually every street corner and Krispy Kreme here in Washington. I don’t see the problem.

      • steveb944

        There’s no Dunkin.

    • Francisco Peña

      I’d rather have the cash

  • samsung freud

how about some discount coupons for Smoothie King?
    or New Balance running shoes?
I need to get in shape for the Samsung Note 8 release

  • Enrico Abel Delos Santos

Would a family plan of 4 lines be able to get multiple $2 tickets under the same Fandango account?

    • Francisco Peña

Yes. We’ve gotten our 3 lines each the same prizes. You will have to do 4 orders though.

  • Micah Putman

Also I got a message in T-Mobile Tuesday app there a chance to get a $5 egift card for the next 4 weeks

  • Limeybastard

More rubbish with narrow claim windows yawn…

  • imrf

  • stuman19741974 .

Does the $2 Dunkin coupon work along with my DD Perks? Like, can I get my iced coffee for 99 cents still?

    • Good
