T-Mobile Tuesdays Returns With Free Pizza from Papa John’s

Yesterday, people from around the world celebrated National Pizza Day. But for T-Mobile, pizza should not only be celebrated in just one day. This is why they announced that they have brought back the free pizza promo under their T-Mobile Tuesdays promotion.

Just like it had done in the past, T-Mobile is giving away free pizzas and pizza discounts from Papa John’s. The promotion starts on Valentine’s Day, which is coincidentally a Tuesday and ends on March 7th. This leads to a total of four weeks where you can get a chance to enjoy your favorite food.

Apart from the free pizza, there will also be other offers available from T-Mobile:

  • 25 percent discount on any regular menu ordered from Papa John’s online
  • One free movie rental from FandangoNOW
  • Free pair of T-Mobile socks in black or white color
  • Free Lyft ride worth $15 or less

T-Mobile will also be offering weekly contests wherein two winners will have a chance to win the following items:

  • $500 Papa John’s eGift Card
  • 55-inch 4K TV and soundbar system
  • $1,072 check for taxes

There will also be 100 first prize winners who will get a $100 Papa John’s eGift card and 400 second prize winners who will get a $25 Papa John’s eGift card.

T-Mobile first launched the T-Mobile Tuesdays app last summer when it gave away free pizza to their customers. The result was overwhelming for both customers and their partner, Domino’s. Thankfully, T-Mobile has set up an agreement with the Papa John’s so that customers will have enough time to get their free pizza instead of just having one day to claim it.

If you’re a T-Mobile customer, you simply need to check the T-Mobile Tuesday app to find information on when you can get your free pizza. T-Mo says that each account is entitled to receive one large or pan pie with a single topping so you better keep an eye out on your app. If you miss it, it won’t come again.

    This is awesome!
Too bad it has an expiration date attached.

  • steveb944

    Not bad at all.

  • Android_God

Can someone help? I’ve never noticed this before in regard to T-Mobile throttling once you hit your 4g allowance.

My wife got a text on her phone that she hit her allowance of,”2g” and now her download speeds max at 128kbs.

My question is, is T-Mobile now slowing data even more than they used to? I don’t ever remember running over my data allowance and having my data go this slow.

    • T Redd

How much data did you have?

      • Android_God

2 gig 4g. I guess I wasn’t aware that once you go over your 4G they only give you a certain amount of 2G?

        • T Redd

Correct. They slow you down to 2g.

        • Android_God

I get that they slow it down but the text that my wife got from T-Mobile SPECIFICALLY SAID Z she went over her allotment of 2 G. I’m guessing that they give you half a gig of 2G and then they slow you down even more

        • Matty G

you get have a gig of roaming data a month then no more, so it was probably connected to At&t. your just out of roaming data.

        • lomsha

Usually not the way it goes, could you post the exact text?

        • Android_God

She went over by 1/2 gig. this is the first time that I can remember T-Mobile throttling it down that’s slowly. Perhaps they’re doing this to get people to upgrade their data plan

        • T Redd

Should be unlimited 2g. If you can use it.

Is this going to be a free pizza PER LINE again? If so, my household is gonna be gettin’ a lot of pizza with our multiple lines!!!

    • Konor Sacks

I read that it was per account

      • Nobody Special

“On one Tuesday during the next four weeks, T-Mobile customers can get a large or pan, single-topping pizza completely FREE. Just check the app each week on each line of your account to see when your free pizza arrives!”

    • Deadeye37

I believe its per line like every T-mobile Tuesday offer.

  • Joe

Absolutely useless. There’s no Papa John’s within a 50 mile radius.

    • Walt

Order online and click on “free delivery”

      • Joe

Smdh. 50 miles away. They will not deliver 50 miles away ._.

    • Dummy Up Meathead

      You’re lucky, Papa Johns sucks.

  • thatuptowncat37

How about gym memberships…full or discounted???

  • mikeZo6

Fix network holes and gaps, instead of giving away free stuff

    • samsung freud

These “carrot on a stick” offerings are cheaper than solving problems or stopping shady customer service practices.
The new mantra is “pizza is the opiate of the masses”.

      • Michael Calgaro

To eat their own, I’d rather have the pizza.

        • beachtrax

The “to eat their own” part still has me cracking up :)

    • AS118

I agree. Now that I’m travelling more, I’m noticing all the holes in coverage.

    • Anonymous1986

I agree. It sucks being on the road and google maps quits on you because of extended gaps in the network coverage.

  • HawaiiD

Verizon just launched unlimited data plan, with unlimited talk, text, calls+10 GB 4glte mobile Hotspot for 80 dollars single line or 180 for 4 lines. How will you think T-mobile will respond ? I say lifting of the prioritizing 23 GB cap and taking off the 480p limit on mobile hotspot video streaming for One plans? What do you think?

    • Walt

Its a 28gb cap and no theyre not taking off 480p that would hurt their network. Just lower prices to $60 to compete with sprint

      • (J²)

I agree, for an “Unlimited” plan with limits, the plan is still a bit pricey.

        • Romdude

Well now that’s fixed. You get hd streaming and 10 gb free highspeed hotspot. This time, we get to thank Verizon for the competition, all consumers win.

    • pindevil

The 480p binge on can be turned on or off. No one is forcing the 480p. And I’ll stick with tmo 4 lines $100 unlimited.

      • (J²)

Not with T-Mobile One (Tax Excluded or Tax Inclusive).

  • Guest

YES Shot-out to all us fatties getting our pizza grub on. This one for us!!!!

  • RideScheduler.com

“Check the app every Tuesday between 2/14 and 3/7 to see if it’s your turn to get a free one-topping large or pan pizza from Papa John’s. Limited Quantities”
Sounds like you have to check every Tuesday for the next month to see when you will get your pizza. If you have 6 phones and each one will eventually get a pizza, I guess the odds are good you will get one each week among the 6 phones.

  • stuman19741974 .

Why doesn’t the T-Mobile Tuesday app work on a tablet like my LG G Pax X 8.0? With T-Mobile 1, isn’t every line paying the same rate whether it’s a phone or a tablet?

  • Brandon

Anyone else feel like we have been tricked by the Free Pizza deal? So in fact you only get 1 free pizza at some point over the next 4 weeks and you don’t know when that will be. The app says this isn’t my Tuesday. False Advertising!!

    • Francisco Peña

not really… to reduce the Domino’s effect, you still get a free one..

  • beachtrax

It’s like pizza roulette. Well, I did get the socks. The socks are in store only. Oh, and the movie rental.

  • RideScheduler.com

How do we know if we win a pizza. All the app shows in my loot for the pizza is “PIZZA IS BACK Redeem by 2/20/2017 AT 11:59 PM ET Check the app every Tuesday between 2/17 and 3/7 to see if it’s your turn to get a free one-topping…” MORE INFO

Shouldn’t it say something like “You got a pizza” or “Sorry, check again next week”?

    “Redeem by…” implies I got one but “Check back…” implies I didn’t.

    • Francisco Peña

“Check the app every Tuesday between 2/17 and 3/7 to see if it’s your turn to get a free one-topping”

So its pretty obvious that if you check, in your MyStuff, you’d see if you get a free one. Your week can be this week (obviously not), next week, the week after, or the week after that.

If you dont’ see it saying Free, your week hasn’t hit. Like being at school.. A-H goes first, I-M goes, next, N-S then T-Z… same principle.

      • Romdude

Yup, I got a free online pizza and a 25% discount coupon from the regular menu this week. I’m guess some only got the discount coupon.

  • Mark

Do the items in My Stuff eventually disappear if you don’t log in for a few weeks? I just went back in, had to re-accept the T&Cs and was texted a new security code, and everything in there (most of which had expired unused) was gone. (And yes, I know, today’s Wednesday.)

    • steadymobb

Yeah I’ve had to do it multiple times with a new code sent to me

  • JC

Does anyone know of a good contact at T-mobile who handles the T-Mobile Tuesdays promotion? The reason I am asking is that I took advantage of the $10 SpaWeek e-gift card offer for $0.00 but SpaWeek charged me $1010.00 for 102 $10 e-gfit cards even though I only added one. I reached out to SpaWeek immediately and they never called me back so I filed a dispute with my credit card company and they are refusing to help because SpaWeek produced a bogus receipt that says I purchased $1010.00. I have a screenshot of my cart right before you click purchase since SpaWeek doesn’t show you a receipt after checkout but emails you one the next day. I have also already filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and CFPB and sent a letter to Chase’s executive offices since Chase bank refused to even accept the screen shot of the checkout cart. I was hoping to reach out to T-Mobile for some assistance before I go down the small claims court road since I also spoke to SpaWeek today and they stonewalled me claiming I need to file a dispute with my credit card company and then also told me that Valerie or Brianna from their accounting department would call me back by 6:30 pm EST today and they never did.

The system glitch that SpaWeek must have had is also tarnishing the T-Mobile brand name so I would like to see if T-Mobile can assist with this matter since it was a promotion they ran.

  • Willy Low

Yes, I have the same situation with the “free pizza” in the redeemed bucket and not sure how to get the “free pizza”. Any help is appreciated.
