Want A Chance To Own The HD7 Early, Have $950?

I can’t say how much I agree with the boys from WPCentral who came across this shady Craigslist ad offering you first chance at the HTC HD7 for the low low price of $950. There is so much wrong with this ad that it begged to be posted simply because it’s the weekend and its so wrong, its funny. The ad from Craigslist originates from Chicago yet the top left image shows New York City from the HTC Hub. Why isn’t the actual phone shown as well, does someone have something they are trying to hide?

Admittedly I get a kick out of these as I love watching phones pop up early on eBay or Craigslist so chalk this up to skepticism and a desire to watch the fun ensue in the comments.

    Not worth the price

For $950, can it run Crysis?

No, really, I’d need to see some really solid proof and descriptions before even thinking about laying down $1k for a phone that will be out in a few months anyway. And even at that, this phone would do nothing special that a normal WP7 phone would on launch, so there’s really no point.

You would be surprised how many stupid people would waste money on a device they can buy next month for $200 just so they can have it now. It is so retarded.

if David didn’t post some of the obvious hilarious blunders with this ad, you may be shocked how many people would’ve fallen for it. Especially since it comes out like next month. Good find David. It has the essense of something from geekologie.com. Kudos David.
