Samsung Posts Galaxy Note II Sign Up Page

With Samsung introducing the Galaxy Note II to the world, those of us stateside are left wanting more details on US availability. Thankfully, Samsung has launched a sign-up page, which will send more information as it becomes available. All it takes is a name, email and zip code to get all the deets. Of course, we’ll be providing all the info we can on the Galaxy Note II and potential T-Mobile availability anyway, but it never hurts to have a little redundancy in your life.

Wish there was a carrier field.

    • ccnet005

While there isn’t a carrier field, you can login at samsung using various social media/email accounts and contact someone there.
You’ll find email contacts for their PR firms, website questions ( ask for a GN2 forum for tmobile) and even a chat windows that asks for your carrier

Login and have a look around.

Wish there was a blog for Samsung news. Isn’t this supposed to be more about T-Mobile? We’d like to know more about the network and other devices besides Samsung.

Same can be said about Apple on this site. For all the hate I give David, I gotta admitt, he has a really nice site and I think I will continue to come to this blog even if I ever were to leave T-Mobile, which is highly unlikely.

      • You guys gotta remember, I can’t control the news and I can’t post just T-Mobile stories, then there are times I could only post once or twice a week, whereas other weeks there are T-Mobile stories every day. The stories in-between make the site busy enough that it’s sustaining as a job for me, which means I can try and bring more T-Mobile stories.

The truth is — there isn’t 365 days worth of T-Mobile news. I have to post about Samsung, Apple, HTC and in-between as it relates to T-Mobile. I’m posting about the Note II because I know stuff, often more stuff than I can post so when I post something like this, try and read between the lines. If I was 100% positive the Note II wasn’t coming to T-Mobile, I wouldn’t even bother posting it.

Suffice to say, Android news also dominates around here because Android dominates T-Mobile’s smartphone user base.

Honestly, if there was network news, I’d post it…we’re in a lull right now with network news and hopefully that will pick up toward the end of the year as the refarm announcements start.

I really do try and do the best I can to get as many T-Mobile specific stories out there and bring them together here, but there are times there just isn’t any news. I can’t let the site go blank for a few days, you’d stop coming.

I see, says the blind man.

It’s a shame that we don’t carry Sony, good Motorola or good LG devices.  That would give us a little more to talk about than the onslaught of Samsung, watered down HTC’s, and the mythical T-Mobile iPhone.

        • Well put my man. BTW speaking of Apple – I signed up for one of those iPhone 5 RSVP black token cards from T-Mobile Germany and got one in the mail yesterday hahaha They delivered it to my house in Miami. Anyone want to buy it? LOL

@David, I admire your logical on this post!

I am relatively new to the forums and websites/blogs but will tell you that I always look for your updates/news…always interesting and informative.

      • Spanky

I left T-Mobile, but I read this blog on a daily basis. I’m a mobile tech junkie, and this is a great place to read about new devices. I’m also curious to see where T-Mobile goes, although I’m no longer with them.

    • 21stNow

Well, Samsung had a huge event yesterday, so this is expected.

What would you like to see David write about?

      -The upcoming iPhone on T-Mobile?
-The upcoming HTC device on T-Mobile?
      -The upcoming BlackBerry on T-Mobile?
-The upcoming ZTE, Huawei, LG, Sanyo, Motorola, etc. on T-Mobile?
-Update on status of network refarm (no public update exists)?
-Announcement of store opening in East Getouttahere, KS?
-Announcement that the sign-up for EasyPay button has moved on the website?
-Recap of what Carly had for breakfast this morning?

David writes about events as they occur.  The things that I’ve listed above either haven’t happened or are of no interest to at least 80% of the blog’s readers.

      • MarcusDW

        SOLID point!

      • None

that leaves 20% of the readers that would be interested.

    • ccnet005

Try these:  (use google to translate this to english)

You could also set up your own blog specifically for GN2 on tmobile you never know where it might lead.

Bottomline I am waiting for the Glaxy note 2 to launch on tmobile either in October/November. This will be a great device to add to my already industry leading Galaxy S3.

    • AM3RIG

I knew this year, ATT will selling both ATIV WP8 and GNOTE II .  but I will piss off, big time!,  if T-Mobile USA selling WP8 ATIV, not GNOTE II. I don’t want to hear T-Mobile announce to lost  their million subscribers in future.

  • NOTE Taker

“The Galaxy Note 2 features more rounded corners, that do a lot for the looks of the Note line. The Galaxy Note 2 is a little taller, but not as wide or thick.”
    Galaxy Note 2 – 151.1 x 80.5 x 9.4mm — 6.35 oz.Galaxy Note – 146.9 x 83 x 9.7 mm — 6.28 oz.

    WHY?!!!!!! SMH!!!!

    • NOTE Taker

I like the Note because its tall AND WIDE!!! Why they had to put it on a diet. It looks just like the Galaxy S III, except taller!!!

I don’t feel to anxious anymore. In fact, I’m going to still buy the origina that I was neglecting because of the Note 2…
      Ok.. carry on!

  • I plan on getting the international version, because the US version will NOT be a quad-core.

Edit** T-Mobile is now getting it, so I’m good woohoo.

    • Eanfoso

If you do that, you will only be limited to edge, and when the refarming is done you’ll be on 3G while everyone else is on 4G or maybe LTE lol but it would be nice to get it quad core though ^.^ but who knows look at the one x+, that’s quad core! :)

  • Waitingf or N2

@ eanfonso, I think you should look at the specs of the international version and you’ll see that theirs a slight possibility that the international lte version might work with the new spectrum since it says: 4G Network LTE 700 MHz Class 17 / 2100, and I believe t-mobile wants to use that same 17/2100 but I’m not sure so correct me if I’m wrong

  • Richie013

    Note II? I guess?
