Walmat Offering $100 Gift Card With Blackberry Purchases?

One Hundred Dollar Bill

This comes courtesy of the boys at Gizmodo who report Walmart as giving away a $100 gift card with the purchase of a shiny new Blackberry purchase. Taking place during the week of November 14th, that’s now for the  Gregorian calendar challenged. Giz reports you can take advantage of this in store and online and while I refuse to enter the Walmart located nearest my house, a little poking around Walmart’s wireless website didn’t find this offer. Sounds like this only applies to two year contract offerings, so those of you looking for the shackles of bondage to be removed need not apply. No word on whether or not the upcoming Blackberry 9700 Bold will be able to take advantage of this offer, nevertheless be out on time for said offer. Right now just the Blackberry 8520 and Pearl (Emerald) seem to be available.

If anyone can find a link on the Walmart website, let me know and I’ll update the post!

Wow, wish I knew this before I bought the BB9700 lol

So, since the 9700 comes out on Nov 16, which is during the promo period, does that mean it will be eligible assuming Walmart Carries the 9700 as of its release date?
