It’s so tempting….. I just wish Christmas wouldn’t have been so BIG this year. :(

      • http://twitter.com/TechG_y Andrew

        I agree

  • Anonymous

The resale value is probably super high on this thing.  No reason not to buy it because if it does come to TMO you can always get back what you paid and scoop one up subsidized.

  • Matt

This has t-mo’s “4G” bands, correct? If so is it the HSPA+ 42?

    • Anonymous

      TMO HSPA+ 21

  • Chad

Dang I just bought one in Dec for like 700+ It might not be a bad idea to throw mine on eBay pocket 200 and buy this one. It’ll probably sale in less than 15 hours the GSM is still a hot commodity out here.

  • http://www.twitter.com/mrjlwilliams J. Williams

Wow. I have some heavy hitters already, but it is a sweet deal. Get one now if you have been waiting for it, but for me. I’ll pass. Great deal though.

  • nathan118

But what about that “international warranty”? Is warranty service going to be non-existent on this thing?

      what I’m wondering myself

  • http://twitter.com/TuckerPeterson Tucker A. Peterson

I don’t understand why anyone would pay full price for a mobile phone when tablets are the same or less and you can still make calls with them (using Bluetooth of course) as well.  Is this a nice phone?  Yes but $700 or even $560 makes no sense to me.

Not trying to be a jerk but I just don’t get it especially when it will probably be here AND subsidized in Q1 (with updates to fix the current bugs).

    • nathan118

      Key word being “probably.”

      • http://twitter.com/TuckerPeterson Tucker A. Peterson

True.  I guess the assumption is Nexus + HSPA = T-Mobile.

    • Anonymous

Well, why would anyone want to pay full price for a tablet when a laptop is the same or less and you can still make calls with them (using Bluetooth of course) as well.

Even better, why would anyone want to pay full price for a laptop when a desktop  is the same or less and you can still make calls with them (using Bluetooth of course) as well.

You, sir, are full of fail!

      • http://twitter.com/TuckerPeterson Tucker A. Peterson

Laptop vs. Desktop is a major portability difference so your comparison is dumb.

Laptop vs. Tablet is a little better but you have two different UIs as well as multimedia and gaming differences.

Tablets are big cell phones without the “built in” phone part but an easy workaround but my question again was “Why?” which you sort of answered (in a childish, condescending and overall douche bag way) but I still appreciate the feedback.

        • Anonymous

I’m a douche bag? You’re the one with a beard.

I can put a cell phone in my pocket, not a tablet. I can make a phone call on a phone without bluetooth, and most tablets don’t send and receive phone calls without Skype or another service.

And I’m childish, condescending and a douche bag? You’re the one that doesn’t understand the difference between a phone and a table.

Go back to Starbucks and shave that douche bag beard.

        • http://twitter.com/TuckerPeterson Tucker A. Peterson

          1) Goatee
          2) Tablet not “table”
          3) Yes douchey.  I asked a question and you got pissy about it.
          4) If I am asking people why they would pay full price for a cell phone then why would I drink overpriced coffee?  I don’t drink coffee anyways.

I understand a phone can go in your pocket and I understand that you may need an app to make calls.  Those are the answers I was looking for when I originally asked “why?”.  If your answer is “I pay 700 or 550 or whatever to get a phone instead of a tablet because I can put it in my pocket and make calls without an app” then that is the answer I was looking for.

I was not trying to flame, troll or cause issues but ask a simple question.  “Why”?

I understand the difference between the devices but preferences are personal.  That’s what I was looking for.  If that was not communicated correctly then my bad.  You chose to go the route you did not me.

        • Chatter

I think the issue here is your assumption that “Tablets are big cell phones”. In that case, the “laptop/netbook is a big tablet” comparison applies despite the UI differences.
I know Ford was being a little harsh but the issue is simple – if you think that tablets are big cellphones, then paying full price for a phone does not make sense to you. Most people don’t think that analogy applies so they are comfortable buying a device that fits in their front pocket without having to walk around with a bluetooth headset plugged in at all times and a carrying case for the tablet.
Its just personal choice in the end.

        • http://twitter.com/TuckerPeterson Tucker A. Peterson

A laptop and a tablet have completely different UIs and form factors.  A tablet is the same form factor as a touch screen smartphone except larger correct?  They also have the same functionality otherwise their OS would be so interchangeable correct?

I appreciate you actually reading what I stated and answering the question.  It’s a personal choice for you the same way it was for me.

        • Anonymous

the form factor is still different between a tablet and a phone, it should have been obvious from the get go that a tablet won’t fit in your pocket, while a smart phone will. that’s always been the advantage of a smartphone, rather than carrying around a laptop with a 3g dongle on it everywhere.

I have a tablet and a smartphone, the tablet travels only as far as my front porch to join me for coffee on nice mornings, the phone travels everywhere, this is mainly because my pockets aren’t big enough for a tablet on normal every day trips.

a great analogy is why would people get a point and shoot camera if they have a SLR already, just put one lens on it and it’s just as handy as a point and shoot that fits in your pocket.

only problem is the point and shoot does fit in my pocket, and I don’t always want to lug the slr around.

        • http://twitter.com/TuckerPeterson Tucker A. Peterson

I guess having friends that carry a tablet and mobile phone everywhere is the bases of the question.  I mentioned the size difference already but the UI is practically the same if not identical minus the phone app.

Obviously to each his/her own I just wanted to really find out people’s personal reasoning for spending the same amount for a phone as a tablet when you can obviously do the same on both but IMO it’s all better on a tablet.

    • BiGMERF

you do realize thats what you pay over the life of  contract anyway, right.. if anything more. buying phones out right and sticking with say tmo’s value plan actually saves me money vs getting a phone subsidized

      • http://twitter.com/TuckerPeterson Tucker A. Peterson

Depends on the device, the plan, the contract etc. but sure.  That could be the case with you.  I have the value plan.  I also paid $179 for my GS2 through TMobile.  Maybe that was store error or maybe a company thing.  Not sure.

I guess the main thing is that since it has not been decided that the GNex will be on T-Mobile makes the most sense so if you have to really have it then pay full price now as opposed to miss out later.

        • James

179 down + equipment installment fees which is like 15-20 a month, for 20 months. Check your bill again.

        • http://twitter.com/TuckerPeterson Tucker A. Peterson

No $179 total.  No installment fees or anything.  I thought it was odd too and checked my bill.  The only thing on it is rate plan and taxes.  I think it may be a company (my company) discount and didn’t realize it.  Not gonna rock the boat though.

        • James

That’s pretty good for 179. I’d figure there would be deals for the plans but not the equipment.

    • 21stNow

There are many facets to this answer, and all come back to my personal preference.  First, you presented buying a tablet and buying a phone as mutually exclusive actions.  Of course, they are not, and I own both a Motorola XOOM and a Galaxy Nexus.  In my opinion, a tablet is a tablet and a phone is a phone.  I have zero desire to make phone calls on a tablet.  I prefer to read books on a tablet, rather than a phone.  I don’t like contracts, so waiting on a subsidy is a non-issue for me.

I’m a fan of the Nexus line of phones.  I can tell you today that I will buy the Nexus 4 when it comes out, if all of my circumstances remain the same or improve.

Different people spend money on different things.  I have a goal in life to never spend $100 or more on a television.  There are others who think nothing of spending $3,000 on a television.  To each his/her own.

      • http://twitter.com/TuckerPeterson Tucker A. Peterson

Thank you.  Good answer and makes perfect sense.

    • Anonymous

I have one of those suitecase phones from the 80s, by your logic, I should never need to buy a new mobile phone again…. ever.

      • http://twitter.com/TuckerPeterson Tucker A. Peterson

If all you need is a phone and it works then yes.  You shouldn’t “need” to buy another phone.  You may “want” to but if the phone works then you shouldn’t “need” to right?

  • Anonymous

Noo damn why do I have to be so broke?!? You could literally buy this and re sell on ebay for profit if you decide not to keep it. FML :((((

      • randyohsofly

Holly s$%*.I got an amaze now and don’t really like it

  • Mxginna21

wow its not expensive at all. when u compare it to what it costs over here in mexico with TELCEL. i saw it in the telcel store in guadalajara and its 14,000 pesos. which is about 1,700 US dollars. its more expensive than the iphone 4s which cost 12.000. the new motorola razr over here also costs 14,000 pesos with Telcel. obviously not everyone can afford that in mexico . u guys are lucky i still have a crappy blackberry pearl thats edge only and i cant get a new phone thats 3G. cuz with 14,000 pesos i can buy enough food for 6 months or more and its a fact.. .. i noticed over here mostly everyone has crappy phones and it sucks . the honest hard working person only makes 200-300 pesos a month. so buying an awesome phone like this is impossible .. i noticed only the people that do stuff thats not legal like kidnap people, sell drugs or join a cartel , and kill people all have iphones 4s i seen it with my own eyes because for them 14,000 pesos is nothing i mean heck they drive brand new bmws and wear armani clothing so a phone is nothing for them. but for us honest hard working people like me its impossible to own a phone like this one.. once my blackberry pearl gives out on me cuz im sure it will soon i dont know what im gonna do cuz even the cheap phones are at least 800-900 pesos. so yea stop complaining cuz u guys have it easy!

    • randyohsofly

Get off the computer and sell that for food.not everyone can afford the best so don’t be jealous.use what you have.smdh

      • Mxginna21

          randy just got guilt-burned.

    • Anthony.L

the situation in mexico is no laughing matter. i worked at vetizon and currently working at at&t and i can understand why many people from mexico come to the US. i know not everyone might agree with me.. but over here an immigrant with a crappy minimum wage job can at least have an iphone something they cant have in mexico. i know many of them have fake papers but to buy a contract phone they dont need to use them fake papers. all they need is a “matricula consular” which is like a mexican id but its real goverment issued id and they get in the mexican consulate in the US. also that depends on were one lives. i live in los angeles and i worked at verizon 2 months ago and i noticed anyone can sign a 2 year contract same with at&t (my current job) u really think they care who uses there service? no they dont. all they ask for when someone without papers goes is there matricula consular and a HUGE deposit cuz they still gotta pay a deposit since obviously they have no credit and uts usually really high from 450-600 bucks but hey if they have the money which some do then they can sign a 2 year contract just like everyone else..

  • Enoel69

The price was hard to resist…even though i have been on a roller coaster as to whether to get the 16GB GSM unlocked version or wait for a 32GB GSM version…i decided to go for it convincing myself i will sell it if and when Google decides to release a 32GB GSM version. Also thinking that something huge is around the corner at CES or Mobile World Congress….oh well guess u can’t go wrong with pure vanila ICS on a 4.65″ 720p HD Amoled screen.

  • Anonymous

Thanks for the heads up, David =)

I just bought it!! Using this on my employee plan :P but to anyone else, use it on monthly 4g unlimited talk text and 2gb web for $60 plus sales tax. The money you save compared to a normal plan is HUGE!

  • guest

Crap just bought a gs2 off contract, looks like its going back and I’m ordering this today

  • Lee

Pass. I will wait for the gsm 32 gb version or a quad core device.

    • Enoel69

Really that was my dilemma w/ the 16GB no SD slot and knowing my luck now that i’ve taken the plunge due to this tempting deal that’s when we will see the announcement of an upcoming 32GB GSM model. Or equally another tempting killer device from the big guys..HTC, SAMSUNG, SONY, LG, MOTOROLA etc.

  • Kirk

600 for a phone is a joke These phones don’t have 600 dollars worth of parts in them. Don’t believe tear-down price specs.

These phones should be going for 150-200 off contract.

    • James Hammond

Zero engineering and zero software too huh?

        Android is free open source.

    • http://twitter.com/BruceCLin Bruce Lin

That’s a really retarded way to base on what you think it should cost. It’s like saying a movie dvd should be only cost 25 cents since it’s just a piece of plastic.

still rockin out with the N1, I was excited about the GN, but after owning a asus TF, and seeing they will be releasing a phone, I’m more inclined to just wait for that to be announced before making a final decision.

  • Bimmerz

Thx to @BiGMERF:disqus  posting this deal on Twitter, I went ahead purchased one too. As I got tired of waiting to see if it was coming to T-Mobile/or Best Buy. Since I don’t qualify for a subsidized phone until Dec 2012 anyway, I figured this would hold me over until the Nexus 4 comes out. So excited! =o)

  • Givemesam

It is rejecting my CC! says AVS Failed. Does any one know if my billing address has to match the shipping address?

    • Sbike

Yes, via paypal or credit card your billing MUST match the shipping address.  I tried both.  Paypal does have some verification method for additional addresses, but apparently it takes “days”.

  • Thomas Brezinski

So what kind of 4G speeds will this thing get?  Does it have the 42 mpbs radio or a slower one?  With all the talk of incompatible 4g frequencies would be nice to know for sure before buying.

    • rugmankc

I would like to know this too–Dayton, Ohio

    • JustMike

It’s compatible with T-Mobile 21 Mbps HSPA+ but not the newer 42 Mbps.  I don’t have any actual numbers because I live in a slow zone and haven’t gone anywhere with it yet.

      • WW

It it gets even half that, that’s plenty good.

    Poor return policy:
“Well, each individual case has it’s own individual answer. We need to determine whether that Bluetooth that you bought really did turn into a toe nipping yak, or if it was just a figment of you over-active imagination. So if you would just be so kind as to contact Sales with your user ID, order number and the problem that you are experiencing our customer service representatives will be glad to help you out…or give you a full psychiatric evaluation, which ever you need.”

    Think I will pass…

    • donnyc.

Wow you weren’t joking, that’s really their return policy verbatim.

    • Anonymous

Ya that’s why I fear buying anything outright from one of these companies. i’m sure the galaxy nexus is a beauty, and I really want one, but after dealing with the myTouch 4g, the LG G2x, and the HTC Sensation (collectively returned the phones over 40 times due to defects), I want to know that I have a good warranty that doesnt require me mailing my phone to samsung and waiting 3 weeks to send it back. Then again a lot of the issues I had with the phones above probably wouldn’t find their way into a amoled screen. All of those returns were from light bleed and dust under the screen.

  • rugmankc

Are you using IPv6. What advantages as far as speed etc will I see. Read links but not understanding much. Will Skype/Tango honor IPv6 request and what other big apps won’t work. Major disadvantages?

  • Anonymous

Wow…that’s a chunk of change for a Samsung build. No thank you.

    • Anonymous

Right on par with all other unsubsidized phones.

  • David Nahodyl

I’ve purchased a number of things from this site, and they’ve been pretty good so far.  I haven’t had to return anything, but everything I’ve received has been in excellent condition and exactly as described on the site.

    • Bboynail

What shipping method do they use? I just ordered and uber excited. lol

      • donnyc.

SLOW I think… I ordered mine as well and am super excited to get it but I’m afraid it is going to take like 2 weeks. Really wish you could pay for expedited shipping.

        • Bboynail

NOoooooo! Guess were getting it after CES is all over.. sigh, what to do for the next two weeks?

        • David Nahodyl

I usually receive my orders from them in about seven days, so it’s not that bad.

Also, for those interested I’m planning on using this with my $60 monthly 4g Tmo plan.  Unlimited minutes, Unlimited Text, 2GB data.  This phone is best purchased by those people not on a contract plan.  You don’t pay taxes or fees on the Monthly 4g plans, which is another advantage over a contract plan.

        • Bboynail

I requested to cancel my order. I just bought mine from Craigslist for $525 with and otter box worth $50. So yeah, i got a good deal. Guess, cant wait for them to ship it.

  • donnyc.

David THANKS for the story man. I (like most people) have been wanting this phone but refuse to pay the $700+ for it. I saw the story this morning and immediately put my SGSII on craigslist and just got $420 for it. Going to end up getting a sweet Galaxy Nexus for $140!! Pretty excited and thanks again!

  • Bkidko

Can you get a value plan without buying a phone from tmobile?

    • donnyc.

Yes you can, but a Monthly4G plan may be the better option. Why sign a 2 year contract if your not getting a phone?

      • Justamazing87

Donny c is correct. the only reason to get a contract is if ur buying a phone from t-Mobile

        • Anonymous

or if you have a family plan with 3 lines. then the monthly 4g doesn’t make sense.

      • JustMike

Are there any Monthly4G family plans?  I’m considering switching to the $80/month value plan for two phones with 1000 shared minutes, 2Gb data per phone, and unlimited texts.  I haven’t seen anything comparable without a contract.

        • Realcool2000

Yeah, i have that plan. I pay like $94.00 total with all taxes. Only difference is I have 3 phones, one has 2gb data, other is 200mb, last is just shared minutes no data. Its the 1000 min family plan ( value ) and unlmt texts. Its great!

        • Bkidko

The value plan I was looking at was 50, while the same classic plan was 70. If I was to get a new plan right now and get a galaxy s2, the value plan option would be just a little cheaper than the classic. With 229 down and 15/month for the phone, for 20 months (or 529 outright price) I would end up paying 1729 over 24 months total.

With the classic, I pay 529 for phone and 1680 for 24 mos of service. Thats a total of 2209.

If I got the Nexus, I pay 50 for 24 mos of service, which is 1200 + 560 for phone, for a total of 1760. So, a galaxy Nexus would only cost 30 more than a gs2. Not a terrible deal.

        • Bkidko

sorry, have to correct myself. The phone would be 229 with classic, so the total would be 1909 over 24 mos. Still the value plan seems like the best option.

    • Anonymous

      Yes you absolutely can.

  • JustMike

I just received mine today to replace the old Vibrant.  I paid about $30 more, but no regrets – I am loving the phone, the huge screen, and especially ICS.  The best part is guaranteed OS updates for the next 18 months or so, which is a huge improvement over the Vibrant.

If you’re on the fence, I say go for it!

    • Anonymous

What kind of data connections and speeds are you seeing with it on T-Mobile?

  • Tmoguy1

It’s interesting that on this site so many people argue about the full cost phone prices. Meanwhile everyone pays full cost for phones.. I mean, its added to the bill monthly as a subsidised phone with VZ, AT&T or Sprint (or tmo classic plans), or you pay full price and get cheaper plans from the many prepaid services out there.

Also, many peopel even buy unlocked Iphones for tmobile. They pay a normal $650 to $800+ on apple’s website, or some actually buy them on ebay for closer to $750+ for the 16g.

I met a guy yesterdey that was so dumb he paid $800 at a private store for an unlocked 16g Iphone 4S.

I always thought phone companies should stop subsidising, i mean cable companies do not offer discount tvs.

    • Anonymous

“I always thought phone companies should stop subsidising, i mean cable companies do not offer discount tvs.”

No, they just encrypt the channels and then force you to “rent” the box that decrypts the those same channels you have already paid for.

And for internet, they expect you to “rent” the $60 modem for $7/mo.

      • Tmoguy1

Right, but no one complians about the used modem or cable box that you can always exchange (no fee). With phones it has to be brand new, highest quality because you own it. Very different idea here. Many european companies will rent phones, for instance.

In thiis case You do not chose your cable company based upon the Box.

This is the problem with the phone service industry, they use the Hardware to get the customer to sign a contract, then the service industry becomes completely responsible for service of the hardware they do not make.

Did mine with paypal, went through perfectly… Plus i trust paypal witg my credit card/debit card more then some web site

    • Anonymous

Worst situation it’ll take a couple of days for the authorization for your credit card debit card to expire.. If the order is processed you’ll get your item, if not they’ll let the authorization expire without depositing the credit card ticket. Kind of like the slip that u sign at a store, those get deposited and if they don’t it goes back in your account in X amou.t if days depending on your bank… Basically when it’s first authorized the money is basically “promised” to the seller.. Once the amount of time is reached and the ticket isn’t claimed ull b fine…. If u have a visa card they are the easiest to file disputes, mastercard is a lot tougher… With visa you basically just fax over an affidavit if fraud, sign it, then it’s pretty much over…

Does this phone have expandable memory?  Or is it just the 16GB?  I apologize for my ignorance.

    • JustMike

Just 16Gb on this version.. there’s a 32Gb GSM/HSPA version coming “soon” and Verizon already has one.

  • Anonymous

What exactly is this? I’m most curious.

  • GinaDee

    Don’t do it.

I bought the Verizon version and quickly returned it.  The device looks and feels waaay to cheap to be a flagship device.

If you are going to spend full price get the new white Galaxy S2.  Phone looks better and feels better in the hands.

    • JustMike

Unless you want software updates, of course – updates cannot be assumed with Samsung-managed phones. The T-Mobile GS2 will likely get ICS months from now, long after the GS3 is released in Europe on ICS, and that will likely be its last update.

    • Anonymous

Yea, except GS2 is the same cheap materials, but with a horrid touchwiz interface and maybe 1 OS update at best.

Plastic doesn’t shatter like glass on the iPhone. It doesn’t transfer heat from the battery in to the palm of your hand. It’s not as pretty as the Kevlar of the Moto Razor but it has a nice finish to it. The plastic is only a small part of the device as the most important part is the regular gorilla glass covered display.

ahhhhh 49 minutes left what to dooooooo?, I have the Nexus S already

I just pulled the trigger. fingers crossed!

Woah, happen to be checking out tmonews 10 mins before the deadline and jumped on it.

Great price, but after taxes turns out to be about the same as used on ebay.

    • Anonymous

really? i paid $564 after shipping. no tax for me.

      • Envork

        no tax here either!

      • http://twitter.com/AndroidAbsBro Android Abs Bro

They’re located in Brooklyn is why. I live on Long Island. Wish I could just drive over there and pick it up.

  • Enoel69

Nooooooo…i just wrote a few hrs ago in here that with my luck now that i pulled the trigger on this deal there will be and announcement of a 32GB GSM GNex…it didn’t even last 12hrs. Just read on News Republic and pocket lint…coming Feb 6th a white 16GB GSM GNex and a 32GB GSM GNex. Can someone who has bought stuff from daily steal tell me if it is easy to cancel ur order. I have been waiting for the 32GB GSM model b4 i take the plunge but was tempted by the deal ystday…now just a day after we have this announcement. Guessing the guys at Daily steals had wind of this and decided to drop the price..that crossed my mind ystday.

    • Anonymous

Same boat as you. Requested to cancel. So far no reply……

      • Envork

I also requested a cancellation and haven’t heard back.

        • jon

You guys are all crazy. From my understanding the 32 gig version is going to retail at 999. Is an addition 16 gigs really worth double the price?? I think not. If you utilize Google Music for music, what do you “need” 32 gigs for???

        • Anonymous

Im cancellin mine cause i bought one from craiglist for $500…

    • Phillip Dubov

I can’t even get them to answer my emails.  I ordered one of these two days ago and they took the money out of my bank account immediately but have never sent a confirmation notice.  I wrote them a couple emails but got no response, so today I called.  Their phone support service has be ‘discontinued in order to serve customers better’!  WTF?  Is this a ripoff site?  Has anyone else been ripped off?  Has anyone very gotten their itme or managed to contact the company?  I am thinking I’ve been hosed…

      • Enoel69

Hope not…i think i read it usually take them about a week or so to send the orders. I just hope they do it sooner. I will just keep my order and probably get the 32GB model when the price drops to abt $650 to 700…which is a certainty eventually when all the other ICS devices from HTC, Samsung, LG, Sony etc start making their way to the market. At that point i will decide whether to sell the 16GB GNex probably for a lil less than i paid for it or just hang on it till the next Nexus.

  • Ag076n

same here, they have not got back to my e mails. i read reviews on this site. from what i read they send defected products and ship in about 6 weeks. smh. wow this sucks.

    • Eguardadojr

I hope these people are legit…no response or confirmation..no phone support?? I dont know why Tmo news and Android spin would show this if they were fake. I hope not I can not afford to lose $564 dollars and I already sold my other phone…Im using my 11 year olds mytouch 4g.
      Im contacting paypal now.

  • Eguardadojr

Just got some feedback…Use your personal email and send your concerns to sales@dailysteals.com dont use their website email…not working I guess.

    • Anonymous

I have used my personal e-mail, yet 2 days later still no reply about my cancellation request…

  • Ag076n

they will not cancel, you have to call your bank and they will handle these guys for you, thats what i did and got my money back asap, i have wellsfargo

    • Anonymous

I did the same. Same bank too. Called and disputed.

  • Smbarry

I ordered one early Wed. Morning got an invoice right away and it said it would sent me a shipping tracking number as soon as they shipped it. Now if you would of read the web site it said it could take up to 6 business days to ship it and they are closed on weekends. Also in the web site it said if you email them it could take 48 hour to respond. Ya there are some bad feed back on this company but there thousand of good ones too( sometime you can alway believe what you read). Just like one of the post earlier said alway pay with a credit card and it’s easy to dispute the charges.

  • dusty arbor

Anyone got a shipping confirmation yet…

    • QrioS

sent 2 emails asking for shipping confirmation, still nothing. order was placed on jan 4. thinking about contacting paypal or my credit card company.

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_PCPDMYL436XFWISI4ZI7UDP6WE Sunflower

I got tracking # on my order information page at Daily Steals. It should be here Thursday.

You can also check by using UPS – Track by Reference. Use your Daily Steals’ order number and your zip code with a shipment date around 1/5 – 1/10

        • QrioS

none of that stuff shows up on my. giving them one more day.

    • donnyc.

Still no shipping confirmation. I tried to Track by Reference like Sunflower suggested but got nothing. No order # on my order info page either, think I’m beginning to get a little worried. Will update if i receive anything though. *fingers crossed*

    • Brian

I still haven’t received any shipping info yet either. I tried the “track by reference” method that Lee and Sunflower posted, but it doesn’t pick anything up, so I’m guessing it hasn’t gone out yet (unlucky me). Their site says that it may take up to 6 business days and its only been 4, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt for now and try the UPS method again tomorrow.

  • Smbarry

I got a tracking number today they didn’t sent me one like they said, but if you go to there web page and sign in you account it show it was shipped and has a tracking number. I will get it Thursbay hopefully in one piece ;-)

  • Anonymous

I just logged in to the dailysteals website and looked at “my orders” it shows that it was shipped. They never sent me email confirmation. UPS tracking says it will be here on thursday.

  • Raidfiregod

Just received mine. It won’t turn on….

    • Raidfiregod

Guess I was a little hasty… after letting it charge for about 20mins the charge screen then came on and it booted u normally

      • Brian

awesome. let us know if everything works well. glad to see that they arent ripping everyone off

      • Brian

as for me… i have yet to see any shipment updates from them. sadface

      • Smbarry

Did it come all sealed up like it was new.

        • Raidfiregod

There was no tape on the GN box at all but all the stickers were on the phone. I inspected it thoroughly and no scratches or smears anywhere….

What time did you purchase your device? What payment method did you use? Are you close to the shipping state they are shipping from? Just trying to get an idea on how they process the orders. If they even have a method to this madness of no customer support or communication.

      • Smbarry

I will get mine Thursday. I order it a 6:00 am central time last Wednesday and I’m from Minnesota.

        • Guest

You ordered yours about 4.5 hours before me, and mine has not even shipped yet. Maybe the time difference is why. It seems strange, but i buess it is what it is. This was my bday present, bday is on sat. Probably wont get it by then. Fail

  • David Nahodyl

Mine is still “payment completed” unfortunately. No ship date yet.

  • David Nahodyl

Just got an email from Daily Steals.  Apparently part of their shipment did not come in, and so some orders were delayed.  The rest of the shipment should be coming in/going out next week.

    • brian

Just got the same email. I cancelled my order. Don’t want to deal with stressing over this anymore

      • Guest

So now I am worried. Mine has not shipped but I didnt get the delay email. So I am not sure if mine is delayed or on the way.

      • donnyc.

Cancelled mine as well and ordered a Galaxy Nexus from eXpansys. There is a $20 off coupon floating around the web so the phone was $659.99. Honestly, at this point the extra $100 IS worth not having to worry about if I’m getting ripped off or not. Unfortunately, if dailysteals takes this long to inform people about their order I can only imagine how long it will take to get our money back.

        • QrioS

how did you cancel it? they don’t respond to any of my emails.

    • donnyc.

Got the same email, I’m pretty bummed.

Just received this update at 927pm:
    Dear TMO News Reader,

We recently received the Samsung Galaxy Nexus phones in from our supplier. However, a small portion of the shipment was incomplete. If you are receiving this email, your order was not included in the initial shipment.

We would like to give you the opportunity to cancel your order if the new estimated time of arrival does not meet your specific deadline.

If you do not use this link, your order will ship out shortly and you will receive tracking information via email.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we hope that you still continue to shop with us!

    Best,
    The DailySteals Team

It looks like what they do is take your money and use it as an interest free loan (making money for themselves), occasionally sending refurbished products instead of new ones to some of the customers to keep their business slightly legit.

      • David Nahodyl

They do often sell refurbished items, but they’re listed that way in the product information section.

  • QrioS

Used your advice and got this email right away:

Hello, Thank you for contacting us. You will be receiving an email with a status update within the next few hours.Thank You,
