Quite a few has been leaked regarding the much anticipated HTC Nexus One (aka Google Phone). And if you thought the leaks stopped there, you thought wrong. Above you will see the Nexus One 3D benchmark test using Qualcomm’s Neocore. I must say I’m pretty impressed, that 1Ghz Snapdragon processor has a lot of power. Without further a do I will leave you to foam drool on some more high-resolution images of the Nexus One and a ten minute video to go along with it. So sit down, relax and grab a snack! Hit the jump for some high-res images and a nice 10 minute Nexus One cideo showing off the animations! Leave your thoughts in the comments!

UPDATE: The 10 minute video was removed due to terms of violation (Naughty stuff). DroidDog was kind enough to reupload the video and remove the explicit content.

So i already have a good plan with T-MO… for 39.99 i get 1000 minutes and free nights and weekends (plus the data+text for my mytouch3g). I’m going to have to by the phone unlocked and not with a new contract because that new plan cuts my minutes in half! Why is Google/T-mo doing this? 530 is a lot for me right now but i WANT this phone!
Did you ever think that we may not be seeing a couple of pages that let you choose your plan. All of this anger is over a leaked PDF file not info realeased by Google or T-Mobile. I work for T-Mobile and know you would always be able to change your plan anyways.
excuse me the data and text are an extra (34.99)*** forgot to put that in there!
actually it’s $40 now. go check on t-mobile.com
if you buy a mytouch 3g it costs $30 for data and $10 for unlimited texts.
hence why the thing for the nexus is $80.
or you could go to one of the even more plus plans which are a much better deal now.
thats what i’m doing. Nexus unsubsidized and Even More+ 500
Not if you’re upgrading nathan. Still 25 for data, 10 for text.
Getting this on Day ONE! Screw the Hardware keyboard, I’ve been using the soft one off and on on my G
i just hope those plans change/aren’t real .. =/
I’m impressed!!!
I think this is the phone we’ve been waiting for… “The phone you crave”. Once all the details are aired on Monday, I’ll be lining up for one of these as soon as it’s available to me.
Not Monday…..Tuesday
I think iphone will be killed. Iphone is history now. Here starts the competition.
I love the speed……………….wow…..
I agree Cybersedan. I just need a release date.
Well since I can’t get this until april cause I will be in bootcamp till than starting 1/11/10
Man that is a beautiful screen, and the UI looks extremely smooth. I read a couple early “reviews” talking about being sluggish here and there, but as of right now, it just looks like some more hate to me. I’ve never, ever been a fan of touch screen-only phones, and I’ve always prided myself on not buying any products on hype, but I have to have this phone. If there were ever a phone without a physical keyboard made for me, this would be it. I also am a fan of Android, and I feel that with the platform in it’s 2nd year, Google is now going to really push it’s potential and capabilities on the strength of it’s own flagship device. The whole single plan thing is confusing to me also, but it’s not much of a deterrent. I don’t use many daytime minutes to begin with, and the pros outweigh the cons of that particular issue.
Is it just me, or is the 10 minute video down?
Please re-up!! I really want to see!!
@zero786
Try watching the video now.
Their was explicit content in the video which caused it to be removed from YouTube. The video has been reuploaded without the explicit content (don’t worry you only missed a second of the video)
Love this phone!!!
Oh, and don’t forget… just because you by the phone with a certain rate plan doesn’t mean you can’t turn right around and upgrade your rate plan at a later time… because you can…
@mrbill
Yes tuesday, thanks for the correction, I simply can’t wait
The 10 minute video has been removed. Is there another link for it?
I have edited and added the video. Check above.
If you wanna watch that 10:00 minute video, go to: http://news.nexus-one.co.uk/
I love this phone. Just hate the plan required to have to use it. What’s the idea behind that?? Is it because you can use the wifi free without having a data plan? What???? I WANT this phone, but I have a family plan!!!
how much do you think the data will cost if i get it unlocked?
I still dont understand the whining about the pricing. The MT3G was 499 without contract when it came out… why is $530 so terrible? I am on even more plus. I would have to pay $449 right now for a Behold 2… Heck, when the MT3G came out, I paid $900+ for 2 of them…LOL So this one is 530… I am ALL over it…
The whining isn’t really about the unsubsidized price. The whining is over how you are being forced to change plans just to get the phone at a subsidized price. I’m one of those whiners. I don’t want to give up my Unlimited Loyalty plan for a 500 minute plan….and having my bill be only $5-$10 cheaper a month.
So why not just buy it outright? I intend to buy mine outright and just pop in my SIM card and use it on my current plan.
i WAS interested in this phone until google or tmobile or both decided to cripple it with that lame plan and not allow family plans. guess i’ll keep looking for my next phones.
I have a family plan and im getting one…
Does this support MS Exchange (Activesync)? Otherwise, this fails for me. Reason why I gave up on the MyTouch and went back to my iPhone, because it wasn’t a very good phone for doing business related stuff.
Wish Apple would sell the iPhone untethered without a carrier like Google is…
Touchdown, on the market, is one of the best mobile exchange apps around. Easily better than the iPhone and even the MS exchange clients. Truly top notch.
Best $20 I’ve spent on the phone.
I’ll second the awesomeness that is Touchdown. Well worth $20.
You have to pay $20 to have it sync calendar, email and contacts? Why is’nt this available out of the box. I thought I read that VZW Droid or Sprint’s Android phone supports MS Exchange. Come on’ TMO…
“Work email” is available on many android phones – thought it was on the Mt3G, too, but I rooted and updated that thing immediately.
Not sure about this one.
No keyboard makes Nexus an iPhone wanna-be. Keyboard version would be sweet.
Has anyone else tried this neo core? I got it off market and my MyTouch did 27.6fps???? WTF? I have half the process and half the ram? Has no one else tried this????
@Austin – I did also on my MT3G. Mine clocked 24.4FPS…
Might have something to do with everything that I have running in the background…I dunno…!
you also have half the resolution and a much smaller screen.
As if the size of the screen matters….
as if you would know
It’s the resolution that matters….not the size of the screen. When you benchmark a game at 1280×1024…..it doesn’t matter whether you’re running that on a 17″ LCD or a 24″ widescreen.
so how much is data if i get it unlocked?
I don’t think you have to have a data plan since you bought it at the retail price.
Any chance tMob lets you spread the cost of the Nexus One out over a year or two, on contract?
You’re buying the phone from Google — not T-Mobile which is why these terms to purchase it suck.
Yeah I realize that part of it. But I thought since TMob is handling billing maybe we could get a ray of light there. Perhaps not.
@JD: that’s what i was wondering…if so, that’s a waay better deal. but somehow, since you’ld be buying direct from big G, i don’t think that would be an option…we’ll see after tuesday hopefully.
Why can’t they do the Ronco thing “if u tell two friends itself yours for just 3 easy payment of 49.90 and ill throw in a free French fry slicer.” Seriously though can’t wait!!
there’s a theory floating around that the reason they are offering such a low minute plan is because google will push its google voice or gizmo5 voip on this phone. i’m all in! been using g voice since grand central and gizmo for 2 years on a nokia…stoked!
Can you make free calls on any WI-Fi network with the Nexus One???
Who cares if you can make free calls over wifi… true its cool but you’ll need to be near an open wifi port to even use this feature. One reason why Skype probably never really took off on the Sony PSP. (Its a portable game system with calling capabilities). I myself can use my MyFavs to do this and is one reason why I don’t want to lose my plan. Not to mention the fact that I have a 1,000 mins with MyFavs, unlimited nights and weekends for $39.99 plus I have the Android Web plan with 400 messages for $24.99. Why on earth would I want to pay more for less? True I could buy the phone for $530 but that’s a little to steep for a phone IMO… any phone at an outright price is just over priced. And for anyone who has an older grandfathered plan and wanted this phone would be outta luck because even if they did switched their plan after they’d more than likely lose what they had and would end up paying more. Maybe this one plan deal is to get rid of anyone who still has MyFavs because they know anyone who has used the Android and Google Voice with MyFavs will want this phone… but unless you shell out the big bucks you’ll end up losing what you had if you want this phone.
I agree that this price is about right for a higher end unlocked phone.
That said, I still don’t have a spare $550-$575 just laying around for a phone and especially not a family of phones. That’s great for you all that do. But, I will have to stick with my myTouch via installment. It performs just fine and I am more than happy with it.
Um, this guy better take this video down because his face can be seen in the reflection of the device screen.
i know, he must not of cared or something cuz that’s the first thing i thought too.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz * rolls over * zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
what was the naughty stuff? and how many seconds was edited out?
The video file the camera man used to demonstrate playback contained naked breasts.
well he is french
Can that edited scene be used as wallpaper?
is there any word yet if we could order the N1 from 611 on tmobile or will we have to upgrade throu google/phone?
the HSPA 7.2 launch date?
I hear ya Fort…. where is the HSPA 7.2 launch? If anything my network connection seems slower and I have less 3G bars than I ever have before (only 2) sometimes even switching to edge. This has been going on like this for a few weeks in hopes that Tmobile would bring our compatible phones higher speeds before the new years… but that’s in less than 30 mins. So I doubt its going to happen like we thought. Well… times a tickin and I don’t want to miss the new year! Happy New Years everyone!!!
i wanna see the iphone take this video on for size
all this talk about plans and stuff is confusing me. if i buy an unsubsidized nexus one (unlocked), i can stick in my t-mo sim card and use it without the carrier ever forcing me to change plans or anything right? and i can use droid internet browser without 3g fine?
