We want your G1 pics!!

So for some of you today is the day, the boys in brown have made your day and in celebration of the G1 launch we want to see your G1 pics. Whether or not its unboxing, firing it up or placing it in your already existing G1 shrine, we want to see them.

So once you no longer have to look out the window for UPS, grab your digital camera or the phone you are ready to retire and take some shots of your brand new G1.

Yes we know, they are ALL going to look the same but the reality is we know you are excited for your very own unboxing pics, having already seen pictures here and here. This has all culminated into a great experience for our readers and we want to see that excitement come to a conclusion and doing so in full on picturesque grandeour!!

So we have set up a nice little place on the forums to post pictures in whatever form you would like, so what are you waiting for? Oh right, UPS still hasn’t come…STOP LOOKING OUT THE WINDOW!!

Does anyone in Alabama have their phone yet? I called UPS and they informed me that it will be delivered tomorrow between 10 and 2. I am going to pick it up from UPS in Montgomery around 3 or so. Hopefully the UPS guy will have taken it back to the “hub” by then.

Got my phone around 1230pm here in NY. Thank god my roommate was in. All smooth sailing so far. GPS worked fine for me. Editing my contacts like crazy though…

I hate UPS!! My package is sitting at the center and I cant go get it! What total bs. They said since its not sch 2 be del till 2morrow I have to wait till then.. I hate you UPS I hope you read this! To all of you that got your 2day.. Sigh.. have fun with it.. Think I might just tackle the ups man 2morrow.. LOL Dont worry I will have pics 4 u all!!

I sure hope someone fixes camera app. Though I have NOT taken alot of pics but will in daylight tomorrow, when I did take a pic of my kids it did not take picture till what seemed like about 3 seconds NO LIE!!!
It took long … Does yours?
I am sure an update will be out in real near future or even better app I hope…
I do like SIMPLE and FUNCTIONAL but this is only functional for like a still in my opinion, but its too early for me to say difinitively until I can get it out tomorrow. Just blogging and LOTS getls lost in blog conversation sometimes.

I am gonna head to local TMO its huge store here in Jersey I will post those pics in FORUM tomorrow!!!

@Kevman- What does the headset look like? I know it may sound dumb but does the right ear piece have more slack then the left or vice versa..

Head phones are nice in my opinion. One side shorter than other cause it has the mic and control for you to turn volume up or down and a button I used to pause music and Im guessing has more functions per app.
Earbuds have Good sound and to me are nice. Everyone hears different but I LIKE THEM!!!
The Phone seems well made too.

the 2 pictures i took did look good but they were my children so though they were posing they were also moving which it did not seem do handle well..
again
it may have been because i was inside and lighting will play a BIG role…

I really gotta tell you all that the device is REAL NICE in person rather then picture.
It is small yet VERY NICE…
The Blah look people talk about TO ME is NO ISSUE…
I LIKE THE LOOK OF THIS PHONE ALOT!!!
Oh and the case they give you you can use as pocket protector..
AS always another NON functional case included with a phone..
I have many like that…
They gotta make some scratch on that… AFTERSELL ITEM :-)

The phones screen sensitivity is dead on and the phone looks 100x better in my hand. Ive been with t-mobile forever and this is a beautiful moment. For those who haven’t gotten there’s yet happiness awaits you!

Already did sim sync the after initial setup screen. I’ve had many other unlocked phones before. All convert sim info slightly differently. I like how the OS works so far. I just hope not to get too distracted at work.

You can set a contact so when they call you it sends them straight to voicemail without it ringing..

I love my G1….when i woke up it was waiting for me outside my bedroom door (thanks mom!!) LOL…i love the phone…all the reviews can kiss my a$$ because it was their opinion of the phone…i hate that compared it to the iPhone but they are completely two different phones!! My one and only complaint so far is that it signs u off aim and all the IMs too many times without u knowing until u go back to a convo (hope this gets fixed with an update)…other than that this phone is awesome…thanks T-Mobile!!!

If anyone is interested I have been using g1 for about 9 hours straight using internet,music,maps with gps etc etc and I just now am getting battery indicator to charge soon. That’s pretty dang good I think.

So the T-Mobile store down the street from me has a total of about 50 G1′s in stock. They’re telling me to be at the store by 7:30 on Wednesday to have a good chance at picking up the color I want. One of the guys had one out and let me play around with it for a couple minutes. The device feels pretty sturdy in the hand, and the touch screen was amazing. Gotta love that arc sliding action!
