Samsung Galaxy Note II Available For $249.99 From Wirefly Friends

Looking to save on the Galaxy Note II? Good, because WireFly wants to help you out as their worst kept secret Wirefly Friends website is offering the Galaxy Note II for $249.99. In fact, that price is cheaper than the actual WireFly website which is selling the Note II for $279.99. The pricing is good for both existing customers and upgrading customers, but only for Classic and Legacy plans. WireFly, like most third-party retailers, doesn’t offer Value Plan purchases.

Still, if you’re looking for a price that’s better than both Walmart and T-Mobile directly, you need not look any further than WireFly.

I’m selling my stuff to buy this phone, gotta pay off my balance to add a line… :(

  • Ford_Thundercougarfalconbird

    Hopefully it’s in stock here.

  • http://www.youtube.com/#/mrjlwilliams J. Williams

    Boom, there it is!!!

  • archerian

will this upgrade work with grandfathered plans, or will I have to move to one of the current ones?

    • http://twitter.com/9ene Eugene

Was wondering the same thing. I called earlier and the guy wanted to put me on one of their current data plans. Anyone had other luck?

    • eurohomie

no.. you have to go on one of the wirefly plans… I’m on the phone ordering mine right now… Even though my contract is up Nov. 1 they’re reserving one for me and are going to ship it nov.1

    • paul2834

I also have grandfathered data and texting. Will that carry over for Walmart if not here?

      • eurohomie

A T-mobile rep told me that it probably will because they’re just extending your contract at walmart while wirefly makes u get on their plans… I wasn’t 100% sure with her answer though so you might want to call your nearest walmart and get more details

  • nemo3xm

Freak ya! Totally just snagged this deal! No tax! Lower price! Totally worth it!

  • Freddie Lopez

For the other WireFly site I believe it’s more expensive only because it say’s next day shipping. So basically you just paid for quick shipping.

  • John

What would be negative to get this phone from Wirefly for $249 and pay the $200 cancellation fee? Wouldn’t that give you a contract free note 2 for $450?

    • nemo3xm

“By accepting this Instant Savings Discount, you agree to repay $200 of this discount ($400 for smartphones, tablets, and netbooks) and authorize us to charge your credit card in repayment of this amount if, you signed up for a 2 year agreement and during the 181 days after your new equipment is activated, your wireless carrier notifies us that the services you purchased have been suspended, disconnected, or deactivated, or if you return your purchase outside of the return and exchange provisions of our Satisfaction Guarantee.”

      • John

        Thanks for the details.

  • eurohomie

My contract is up Nov. 1 and I just ordered it. paid $249 on my credit card and a $18 activation fee on my next bill. No tax and my phone has been reserved and will ship Nov. 1

    • eurohomie

After i placed my order I called T-Mobile customer loyalty trying to preserve my preferred $20/mo data plan instead of getting the 2GB throttle and they left a note in my account and told me I would simply have to call them back and they would take off the Data plan wirefly put on and give me my proffered one back by simply calling them. If yall are on a special plan, try calling Customer loyalty before upgrading and see if they can preserve the features you have.

      • archerian

did you ask loyalty about getting the SGN2 directly from them? if so, what was their best offer?

        • eurohomie

no I didn’t ask.. because of past experience trying to get phones discounted it didn’t workout. They pretty much just add extra services for free and give me preferred data plans instead.

      • Dakota

Just a warning I’ve had reps promise things & say they’ve posted it in account notes & call the next day & new rep says nothing there – even if I have the old reps name & employee #

        • eurohomie

it depends on who you talk to, whenever I call, first thing i ask for is customer loyalty when the robot asks me “how may I help you today?” I usually end up getting what I want and ask for(I don’t ask for anything outrageous).

      • Coolgeek

My worry would be that WireFly will charge you their ETF if you change the Data plan on your account, which is $400 for smartphones. I would double check with WireFly before switching back to the preferred $20/mo data plan.

        • eurohomie

Naw, I got my current phone from wirefly for the 79.99/mo unlimited everything plan (w/2GB high speed) and T-mobile actually changed my data plan with no extra fees while still under that 2 year contract. I doubt wirefly gets any information about service changes unless you cancel a service, in this case I’d be upgrading a service but getting a discount

      • http://twitter.com/9ene Eugene

        were u successful?

        • eurohomie

My actual phone extension is Nov. 1 so I have to wait til then for any changes to take effect as well as the phone get shipped out to me.

    • note_lover

Actually, since there was no tax, I just about saved that amount anyhow so I’m happy. I did upgrade the shipping to get it quicker and got the LCD screen cover have a very discounted rate.

  • HRB1

I’ve only ever bought a phone from T-mobile, could I keep my t-mobile device insurance if I bought a phone from these guys?

    • thepanttherlady

Insurance through TMobile is on the line, not the device. Whatever device you have activated/registered on your line will be covered with the insurance.

  • guest

Not $249.99 anymore. Its now same price as the regular Wirefly site ( $279.99 ).

  • Guest

Why does it say for me that the Note 2 costs $279 and not $249 on wireflyfriends.com?

  • kahala74

I was on the phone for 30 min with Wirefly, who confirmed the 249.99 price. After I gave all my plan options and my credit card info, I was told the price has changed to 279.99. Talk about bait and switch!!! DON’T do business with these guys. Not honest.

    • eurohomie

it was 249.99.. that’s how much I paid.. you just waited too long… Plus my contract is up on Nov.1 and they reserved the phone for processing… what a great day.. it wasnt bait and switch it’s just that the price changed in the system while you were talking to them. Nothing the person on the other line could do about it.

    • Dakota

Still cheaper than outrageous tmo pricing

  • Texasfight

They cancelled all the orders with $249.99 pricing because they did not pass the “fraud” screening. Wirefly is the fraud.

    • eurohomie

My order has been recieved and is carrier approved still… It doesn’t say it’s been canceled anywhere…

      • trick

hey did you receive the email with your tracking number and stuff…?

        • eurohomie

no because I am eligible for a renewal Nov. 1 so they’re gonna send it out nov. 1. they pretty much just reserved it for me and got my credit card info for the charges and it was approved by tmo

        • note_lover

I was initially told that they were out of stock but should have more in the next day or two, so would ship early next week. Last night all four checks were checked off and I got a FedEx tracking number. It’s already half way here, hurray!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

        • eurohomie

WOOT WOOT!! Congrats! I still have to wait til Nov.1 to get it shipped out to me and it feels like the days are going by so slow… I’m estimating that I’ll get it on the following Monday nov 5.

        • Note Lover

I know it’s been a few weeks but did you get it? How do you like it? I love mine!!!!

    • trick

yeah my order was approve just waiting for it to ship so i can get the tracking number

  • Texasfight

Here is what I think happened–> your company underpriced the phone at 249.99 and now are charging 279.99 to make a new order.

  • Texasfight

    Wow deleting comments now? Really?

  • Rbt33176

Called Tmo this morning and rep politely processed my order for note2 at net $229 including delivery. Transaction includes credits to current bill + full credit of next months bill without any upgrade fees. Dont care about rebate but if i send it in my net is $179. Tmo exceeded my expectations without having to say that i was ready to cancell my 8 year account with 6 lines & move to att or VZ if Tmo tried to charge over $299 fr note2. Evidently the new administration is trying hard to keep good customers.

    • archerian

$229? that’s a great deal! … which plan are you on?

    • itmustbejj

Classic plan here. I talked to loyalty and I could not get them to budge off $369. I called 3 times, once I even had someone say 399.99 was the best she could do. I’m pretty bummed.

      • note_lover

I was quoted $419.99 since I’m on the Classic Plan, migration fees of $100.00 per line (have 5 lines), to get on Value plan just to get it at $379.99. It’s ok though, I got it through Wirefly for $279.99 (never did find the $249.99 price so assuming it is no longer available at that price. I’m extremely happy with my purchase and T-Mobile service but just had to go where it was a little less expensive. I can understand this phone being more that the average high end phone since it is a higher caliber of phone. It it supposed to be delivered tomorrow and can’t wait to get it!

  • Dakota

The graphic above says NEW ACCOUNTS though. At&t just announced the phone for 299. I don’t care if tmobile plans are a lot cheaper, tmo keeps making the mistake of contradicting their value brand with much higher handsets & then inconviencing customers with stupid rebates..Its almost 2013-enuf with mailing rebates. People see they have to put down $400+ upfront & then don’t even bother going further. Its such a stupid way to try to get new contract customers. I went to a tmo store..totally empty, no NOTE2 signs & noticed all phone displays had value pricing which will confuse people when they find out that’s not the real price you’ll pay. I’m just always confused by their Mktg..its everything you’re taught not to do.

  • Dakota

Never understand the allure of a giant phone unless you’re a girl who can easily put it in her bag

    • note_lover

You can put it in a holster with a belt clip just as easily as a purse.

  • johnyboyluzig

I actually got 2 Note II’s one white and one gray from T-Mobile customer loyalty… The price was $380 each plus $80 in Nevada tax, she gave me an instant discount of $250, plus I’m getting 2 $50 mail-in rebates. After the rebates I’m out only $500 for both Notes… I’m on a Grandfathered Even More Plus Plan with no changes. Work with your loyalty rep nicely and you just might get a bad a$s deal.

    • Coolgeek

If they kept you on an Even More Plus Plan, I wouldn’t count on getting the rebates. The terms of the rebate state pretty clearly that you have to re-sign a 2yr contract to qualify, and the beauty of an EMP Plan is that there is no contract.

      • unknown

He doesn’t know what he is talking about.

  • Chris

I picked up the Note 2 today from Wireflyfriends.com for $249.99 plus $18 upgrade fee. The T-Mobile customer care rep that I talked to while I did my order for the Note 2, gave me a $100 credit for signing up for another 2 years. and then gave me unlimited everything with mobile hotspot for $89.99 a month. I was grandfathered into an old blackberry plan and have to start paying more every month. The Note 2 shipped and I got a fed-ex tracking number for it. I should get the phone on Sat.

  • http://www.neiltantay.com/ Neil T

Just called customer care, got preferred price of $269 for the note 2. Also got preferred data plan $10 for 200 mb. First time I called the guy didn’t want to help, called right back and the lady was helpful. It really depends who you get on the phone.

    • note_lover

      Unfortunately this is true

  • tmofan

Any preferences on white or titanium?

    • note_lover

      White for sure!

  • clay

Bought my note today thru customer service for 269.99 plus tax! i sold my original note yesterday for 350! Love Tmobile customer service they will do anything to keep your business.

  • Clay

bought the note 2 today thru loyalty department for 269.99 plus tax with no upgrade or shipping fees. i was hoping walk out with it under 250 but how could i not take this deal. also i sold my original note for 350 on craigslist. so i made money regardless!

  • BUFan

Just got off the phone with Wirefly trying to upgrade one of the lines on our family plan. All the lines already have 2gb data, but the sales rep said we had to increase to 5gb in order to purchase the Note 2 at the $279.99 price! I cancelled the order. Anyone else have this happen? She said it was Wirefly’s policy to require a increase to a 5gb data plan and not TMO’s.

    • Note Lover

I’ve never heard of that but some to think of it, I already have 5 GB, which in reality, I don’t need. Just the plan I am on. Did you finally get one?

  • http://twitter.com/MrMars43 Matt Mars

I spoke with Customer Loyalty at length last night regarding the Note II. I apparently am off contract now, I’m guessing because I usually get phones off of Ebay to avoid using my upgrades, and the best they would do on 2 Note II’s was $300 each and one months credit to my bill. Not a horrible deal, especially since I do not want to switch providers. I will be pulling the trigger on the deal Friday night!

    • Note Lover

      that’s great
