T-Mobile Galaxy S10 series updates bring camera improvements and more, Note 9 and S7 also updated

Several Samsung devices are now being updates on T-Mobile.

First up, the Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e are all receiving updates that bring new security patches and several other improvements. Galaxy S10 owners should be on the lookout for version G973USQU2BSIO, while S10+ owners are getting G975USQU2BSIO and S10e users are getting version G970USQU2BSIO.

These updates include the October 1, 2019 Android security patches and improvements to camera features like Live Focus and Super Steady. The Link to Windows feature is included, too, along with DeX for PC and Dynamic Lock Screen.

Here’s Samsung’s changelog for these new S10 series updates:

Various camera features have been added and enhanced.

The Link to Windows feature has been added.

Video Editor has been improved.

DeX for PC has been added.

Dynamic Lock screen has been added.

Also rolling out is an update for T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy Note 9. This update bumps the Note 9 up to version N960USQSCSI3 and includes the October 1, 2019 security patches.

Finally, T-Mobile recently updated its Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge models. The last update these phones received was back in July, so these new updates are a welcome sight for anyone rocking an S7 or S7 edge.

Both phones are being updated to the October 1, 2019 security patch level. Galaxy S7 owners should watch for version G930TUVSACSI1, while Galaxy S7 edge users are getting version G935TUVSACSI1.

All of these updates should be rolling out over the air now, as several TmoNews readers have gotten them. If you’ve got one of these Samsung phones, you can check for your update by jumping into the Settings app on your device and tapping on “Software update” followed by
“Download updates manually”.

Thanks, Ben, James, Debjit, Daryl, Kevin, and Edmund!
