We’ve seen several Samsung phones get security updates from T-Mobile over the past week, and now it’s time for an LG device to get in on the action.
The LG G8 ThinQ is now getting an update from T-Mobile. The 189.2MB update brings the June 2019 Android security patches to the T-Mobile flavor of the LG G8. The update now rolling out over the air, so if your G8 hasn’t updated yet, you can hop into your Settings app, go to the “General” tab, then tap on Update center> System update > Check for update to check for it.
A security-focused update like this may not be the most exciting thing in the world, but it’s important to keep your phone up-to-date so that it and all of your information on it are as secure as possible. So if you’ve got a T-Mobile LG G8 ThinQ, be sure to grab this update when you get the chance.
