Two weeks after T-Mobile last announced a round of mid-band LTE upgrades, it’s confirmed that another batch of upgrades has been made.
T-Mobile CTO Neville Ray says that the magenta carrier has upgraded hundreds of cell sites with more mid-band LTE capacity in the past two weeks. These upgrades typically include both PCS and AWS spectrum.

This latest round of mid-band LTE upgrades is spread throughout the U.S., with lots of upgrades made in California, New York, and Massachusetts. Some of the cities and towns that received upgrades this time around include Sacramento, CA; Boise, ID; Foxboro, MA; Astoria, NY; and Austin, TX.
