Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows 10 disappears from T-Mobile’s online store

Bad news, Windows 10 Mobile fans: It looks like T-Mobile may be done selling the Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows 10.

The Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows 10 has disappeared from T-Mobile’s online store. When you filter the phones page to show Windows devices, you get a “No items found” result. Trying to navigate directly to the Idol 4S’s product page will just give you a page that sits and loads without actually showing anything.

I reached out to T-Mobile to ask about the status of the Idol 4S with Windows 10, but haven’t gotten a response as of the time of publication. If I do hear from T-Mo, I’ll be sure to update this post.

Alcatel’s Idol 4S with Windows 10 originally launched in November 2016 at a price of $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $19.59 each, or $469.99 full retail. The Idol 4S looked like a pretty nice phone, offering specs like a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 21-megapixel camera, and a premium design. Windows 10 Mobile isn’t exactly the most popular mobile OS around, though, and it’s possible that T-Mo could’ve just decided to cease sales after five months of availability.

If you’re still interested in picking up an Idol 4S with Windows 10, you can snag an unlocked model from Microsoft for $400 or you can get one from Amazon for just $284.99.

Thanks, Steven!
