Dell Launches Android Edition Of Venue Unlocked For T-Mobile

I have to be honest and say, I didn’t even remember this was coming which shows how much faith I have placed in Dell and their Android lineup lately. Still, the Venue, which is a fantastic piece of hardware in the Windows Phone 7 edition is now available sporting Android 2.2. Unlocked and available from T-Mobile for $499.99 the Venue has a 4.1″ capacitive touchscreen at 800×400 resolution complete with Gorilla Glass.

Unfortunately no HSPA+ on board with a piece of unlocked equipment, but you’ll still get to take advantage of HSDPA 7.2 speeds boosted by the HSPA+ network. We’re posting up the full specs below so take a look and see if this isn’t the Android phone of you dreams.

While the official Dell blog states availability for today, February 3rd, the order page still says “coming soon.” So it might be worth bookmarking and checking back throughout the day if you’ve been eyeing this one.
