Samsung SGH-T779 Finds Its Way To Bluetooth SIG Approval

We do love the smell of fresh hardware in the air and so we bring to you the Samsung SGH-T779, a newly discovered upcoming Samsung device headed to T-Mobile. The biggest tipoff is Bluetooth 4.0, which is something we expect to see on high-end equipment, otherwise we’re pretty much staring at everything we know about the device in regards to a T-Mobile launch.

One interesting discovery upon further digging is the Product Name: Samsung Mobile Tablet(SGH-I497), which would show a product also headed for AT&T. Now, the SGH-i497 has already passed through the FCC and is believed to be the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.

For now, we’re roll with the likelihood that this is the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, though we’re certainly not calling anything 100% and leaving open the room for this possibly being something else. I wouldn’t put a whole lot of money on this being something other than a tablet however. Still, we’re always welcoming of surprises!
