T-Mobile’s 4G LTE CellSpot update reportedly coming to enable Wideband LTE support

4G LTE CellSpot owners, your device may soon receive a major update. A new report says that T-Mobile’s 4G LTE CellSpot will soon receive an update to enabled 20MHz Wideband LTE. Nokia (makers of the 4G LTE CellSpot) have reportedly confirmed that a firmware update will arrive in either Q4 2016 or Q1 2017 to enable 20MHz LTE. T-Mobile reports Q3 2016 results, including 2 million customers added

UPDATE: T-Mobile CEO John Legere teased that a new Un-carrier move will be announced before T-Mo’s next earnings call. T-Mobile’s Q4 2015 earnings were announced in mid-February, so the next Un-carrier move could come sometime before mid-February 2016. T-Mobile adds 2.3 million new customers in Q3 2015

The numbers for T-Mobile’s third quarter 2015 performance are in! T-Mo reports that it added 2.3 million customers in Q3 2015, making it the 10th straight quarter in which more than 1 million people joined the Magenta Army. Of that 2.3 million, 1.085 million were branded postpaid customers, which makes Q3 2015 the 5th straight quarter that T-Mobile added more than 1 million postpaid customers.
