Perez Hilton gets behind T-Mobile’s #NeverSettleforVerizon campaign

After last week’s social networking setback, you’d forgive T-Mobile for backing out of its #NeverSettleforVerizon promotion. And with any ordinary wireless operator, that would be expected. But this is T-Mobile and John Legere we’re talking about here. When has this new, improved Uncarrier ever backed out of anything (unless it’s upsetting lots of customers)? Instead of dialing it back, John tweeted out a short video … [read full article]

Legere: “We are not an underdog brand”

T-Mobile has become the most talked about carrier in the U.S. wireless industry. Its bold Uncarrier moves have made it the talk of the town. Its growth and popularity since starting Uncarrier have been incredible. And many will put this boldness and success down to one person: John Legere. More often than not, tech reporters will come away from a T-Mobile press event with comments on the chief’s style and choice of language. … [read full article]

T-Mobile Hosting UnCarrier Phase 3 Part II Conference Tomorrow Morning Through Twitter

If you thought T-Mobile’s UnCarrier announcements were over, you’d be wrong! T-Mobile has sent out a note to members of the press and their customers indicating T-Mobile’s “First Tweet Conference for Un-carrier 3.0 Part II.” The announcement is evidently tablet related and with the iPad now available on T-Mobile, I imagine Apple’s tablet will play a big role. T-Mobile CEO John Legere and … [read full article]

T-Mobile CEO Suggests Carrier Will Carry iPads After Apple’s October 22nd Special Event

T-Mobile CEO John Legere has before hinted that more Apple products would come to the UnCarrier and a tweet this afternoon all but confirms that notion. In a brief tweet sent earlier this afternoon, Legere asked “What has two thumbs and is excited for October 22nd? #thisguy.” Legere’s tweet linked to a USA Today story on Apple’s October 22nd event which is expected to revolve around new iPad hardware and Mac software. … [read full article]

Dear T-Mobile: You’ve Come A Long Way, Don’t Sue Over A Color

As a long time fan of T-Mobile, I’ve supported T-Mobile through thick and thin, acquisition rumors, AT&T buyout attempts and quarter after quarter of disappointing financials. Still, I love the little Magenta carrier that could but another lawsuit over the “Magenta” color just seems both unnecessary and ridiculous. T-Mobile is building up good will right now thanks … [read full article]

T-Mobile Posts Moto X Support Page, Still No Launch Details

We’re still eagerly awaiting any kind of launch details to officially drop from T-Mobile surrounding the Moto X launch, but until then we’ve got a newly posted support page. For the most part, it’s just a placeholder now and I really don’t expect anything on the launch to be posted in this section, but it makes me hopeful T-Mobile might say something soon. T-Mobile CEO John Legere teased the release of … [read full article]
