Deutsche Telekom Remains Committed To T-Mobile USA

Deutsche Telekom CEO Rene Obermann spoke today at the annual shareholder meeting and reiterated their commitment to their US branch. While saying that he wasn’t “fully satisfied” with the company’s performance, he was clear by saying “it is still making us a great deal of money.” This is the second time in as many months that he has spoken out about the Deutsche Telekom commitment to T-Mobile USA and while rumors have been persistent of either … [read full article]

T-Mobile Ends Exclusive Search Deal With Yahoo, Embraces Google

Well, its over! T-Mobile has ended its year old search deal with Yahoo.  It comes as no surprise to hear that Magenta has replaced Yahoo with its biggest rival—Google. The deal is important because it now shifts search dominance away from Yahoo, as the Big G is now working exclusively with two of the top four carriers in the United States.  A Yahoo spokesperson said that Yahoo will still be working with the fourth-largest U.S. carrier on … [read full article]

Reuters is reporting that Deutsche Telekom is seeking a partner for its U.S. branch, T-Mobile USA. Looking to shore up some help for its financial investment in US … [read full article]

Deutsche Telekom Shareholders Want Action

It’s only been a few days since the recent round of rumors peg Deutsche Telekom looking into acquisition of Sprint and yet, another option has presented itself. Unfortunately, though this option has a much less positive spin than the acquisition of the third and fourth place wireless players in the US would have.  Coming on the heels of the T-mobile UK merger with Orange in the UK, the two big shareholders for Deutsche Telekom are beginning … [read full article]
