IDC: Android Accounts For Sixty-Eight Percent Of Smartphones Shipped In Second Quarter

According to the latest report from the IDC, Android and iOS now account for more than 85 percent of the 152 million smartphones shipped in the second quarter of 2012. Nokia Astound Launches Today, $79.99 On Contract

Right on schedule T-Mobile has launched the Nokia Astound for $79.99 for a 2 year contract. With a 3.5″ screen, 8 megapixel camera and on board Symbian OS the Astound is a definite change of pace from the recent onslaught of Android devices we’ve been seeing.
