Sony Entertainment Network And PlayStation Now Accepting Carrier Billing Through T-Mobile

Concerned about using your credit card with the Sony Entertainment Network or the PlayStation store after the company’s recent bout of hacker attacks? Some good news then as they’ve launched carrier billing through T-Mobile (and AT&T but forget about them). Unfortunately you can’t use carrier billing with the PlayStation Vita but I suppose two out of three services is good enough to start. I’m hopeful this new carrier billing feature will extend to PlayStation … [read full article]

T-Mobile Ready Sony Xperia Z Ultra Passes Through The FCC, But Will They Carry It?

A quick reminder that passage through the FCC doesn’t guarantee a T-Mobile arrival, but the appearance of the Xperia Z Ultra with T-Mobile-ready HSPA+ and LTE has us thinking. The FCC filing for the 6.4″ smartphone/tablet/thing shows LTE bands 2,4,5 and 7 and 1700 HSPA+. With T-Mobile already selling the smaller sibling in the Xperia Z, it’s not unthinkable that T-Mobile could pick up another Sony device. Of course, there’s no carrier indicators … [read full article]
